Really sorry for my recent spate of silence and "absence"! Been really busy with many other things like travelling and catching up with frens who dropped by Hong Kong... Then next week heading to Tokyo for a week...time time I need more time!

Not to mention all these iphone games are seriously addictive and I couldnt get my fingers off my phone!! Anyone been playing "GodFinger All Star"?! Where u get to create your own planet with little characters to farm and build to collect gold as you bestow rain and sunshine? It's incredibly addictive!!

While not watch drama, spent a couple of days watching a relatively new Japanese anime Psychic Detective Yakumo /心霊探偵八雲 (Japanese title), about a guy with different coloured eyes and can communicate with spirits (ghosts) which helps in his investigation of mystery or murder cases.. That sets the tone of the anime but there are introduction of a bunch bad guys who seem to be after him for his powers? Not sure yet. However i like it.

Also covered an older anime called "Clannad" which features the story about a "delinquent" boy at school and how his path was altered after meeting another school mate who had returned school after a long absence due to bad health. It's not the comical hee hee haa haa sort of school theme anime but hell, this is one of the few touching anime I had seen for a while, moving enough to get my nasal feeling a little sniffy after a few heart rendering scenes....I think it has a good idea revolving around family relationship, friendship and showcasing the effects of a good peer influence....

Other than that..also been catching up on my novel Turncoat by Jim butcher...in between my Jap studies...so u can imagine...i m really pretty tight on time..

That said, I will still try to finish the summary for Zhong Wu Yan though it is venturing on being boring these recent 2 epis of 13 and 14. I actually fast fwd for ep 14 maybe because it is very predictable and to me, a little draggy. Maybe because I just miss the cheerful naive silly Xuan instead of the current serious brooding Xuan....It's not so funny these two ep as he had to deal with the reality of being broke, jobless and looking for a job where he couldnt seem to stay on to...while Wu yan is just plain sorrowful, feeling cut off and worried for him...

Zhong Wu Yan Episode 12

Sorry this will be a short one...time time i need more time!

In short, at Wuyan's desperate urging, Qi Xuan rushed back to the city with her after news of his father missing a morning meeting after locking himself inside the top fragrance room. Qi Xuan tried every combination but he couldnt open the lock. Wu Yan tried Xuan's birthday and the door opened. The couple was shock to see the father collapsed and unconscious on the floor.

In the hospital, Xuan asked how could the father hide the truth for so long? The father told him to go to the fragrance room with Wuyan who has the key to the "safe". When they unlocked, it was filled with birthday card and yearly presents for Xuan. Every card had a written message for Xuan from the dad, remebering every wish and present Xuan had ever asked or hinted for. Xuan felt touched that teh father do love him and horrible that he was so useless that the father couldnt have a chance to give them all that. Wuyan said they should return to the dad soon (since he doesnt have much time left as the cancer has spread to every part of his body). Then it hit Xuan that Wuyan already knew the truth way before him. He turned around and asked her how couldnt she hid the truth from him. He had trusted her more than he trusted himself!

Wuyan pleaded for his understanding, that she had promised the dad to hid the truth. Xuan agitatedly told her that even if she had to hide from him, the least she could do was to force the father to receive treatment!! Didnt she know that if he known, he would have a chance to prove himself sooner, fought with the father less, and most of all, to have a chance to bond with his father as he always dreamt of! No matter how Wuyan cried and apologised, Xuan couldnt accept anything at that moment.

Back to the hospital, David's mum visited Xuan's dad with concealed threat that she will take over the company after the dad is gone. Understanding that once he is dead, and his son may not garner enuff support and votes to take over the company, the father forced himself to apooint David's mum as the acting CEO with the condition that she will let Xuan a chance to grow in the company and in future, let both their children run the company together since they are as close as brothers. David's mum seemed to agree on the surface and left...when she bumped into Xuan in the corridor, she pretended concern and offer help but her expression changed to contempt once he was out of sight.

Meanwhile, Howard had driven a sobbin Wuyan back to her village. He even invested money to start up the winery dream of Wuyan and her dad. However, Wuyan didnt want to accept since she wanted it to be from her own efforts and didnt want gossips that she was leveraging on a rich guy to help her.

Xuan's dad asked to go home. Father and son had a good chat. Xuan confessed that he had always thot the father hated him for causing the death of his wife. However now he knows he was wrong after reading all the bday cards. Xuan tried to chat about going on a fishing trip with his father, one which his father never found time to do...however, his father died in the middle of his chat....xuan was crushed....

Wuyan tried to visit the dad, but a stone cold Xuan told her that he has passed away. He explained much that he understood Wuyan was innocent in everything and got dragged in due to his own incompetency, he felt that she had done enough and at this moment, he couldnt forgive anyone including himself.....Wuyan started to cry when she realised he was asking to go separate ways....Howard tried to console her and took her back to the village...

Meanwhile, David's mum cornered the company finance head - Xuan's dad few supporter. She revealed her knowledge of his embezzlement of company funds to cover his personal stock market loss. Trapped, he was forced to "team up" with her in the company from now on to prevent truth from leaking out....

Sorry have been silent for so long as I was away for a week and doing some free lance work, that took up more time than I did....also had to spend some time on my Jap studies and esp with a fren who's having some private woes....It's hard to tear myself away but some reality doses here and there is good for me.

Been watching the ongoing series and S.Scandal is positively getting better!!! Now that Kuro's identity has been revealed, and the trial of the "homosexual behaviour" of the accused two has begun...this is gonna be a must watch. Luv to see if the guy finally revealed his liking for the female lead!!

As for Playful Kiss, still watching...still not impressed but dun hate it as much as the start. KHJ is still as eye candilicious but the script seem to be relatively disjointed, to a point of being dispassionate... Firstly there was suppose to be another male senior who confessed his love to Oh Hani, and when u think u could be someone interesting to stir the pot, just as suddenly he enter the scene, his exit was just as sudden without much accountability. It almost made his whole existence pointless if it wasnt for the fact that it leads up to KHJ declaring "Oh Hani will only like me.". errr..alrite dude.

When KHJ overheard Hani's best friends hints that she will be proposed to and she might marry the guy, I didnt quite get why KHJ will be waiting at the bus stop instead of dashing over to the restaurant to stop the proposal. Ok, even if I go along with the notion that Korean man are more MCP and less expressive of their emotions, errr...I couldnt reconcile how he could look so serious at one moment, and suddenly confessing his love and announcement of his intention to mary Oh Hani all in like 5 mins.... If it wasnt that I had the story line so etched in my head, I would have found the entire love progress a preposterous. As for the other high IQ female lead, honestly, I have no idea why the director made her appear as some ditzy head. From a mature serious character, she has swindled to some crazy ha-ha girl who is neither "scheming", "spiteful" nor adorable...No idea whose idea it was to try to turn her to be a little "cutesy" but it doesnt suit her face.

Overall, I feel neither here nor there for Playful Kiss up to ep 14. It's like taking a slow scenic train ride, where I know it will eventually get to the known destination. There are occasional smiles here and there but its about as safe and as exciting it will ever get....KHJ's acting skills has improved. Thre are several scenes where his expressions were rather apt and had me chuckling. Other than that, I am better off rewatching YAB.

Tv Drama aside, been a busy woman!

Firstly, bought myself a cisco router so that I can hook up wireless at home. It was simpler than I expected! Bought another portable backup harddisk too but that's been giving me trouble coz it keep hanging my PC. Sigh.... Bought a new toy and so am off to play with my new Kindle DX! No more waiting for paper backs in HK! Now I can read Jim Butcher's series as soon as it is out!!! Always wanted to have a Kindle but been procrastinating until I realised I have run out of space literally to store any more story books! (Since I dun throw out any books good or bad!)

Currently am also addicted to my Iphone game. Anyone is playing Pocket Frogs & Zombie & plants games on iphone/ ipad? My bro loaned me his ipad and I spent one whole week staying up just to play the zombie games trying to break all levels when I was back visiting my folks! I had a "scolding" from mum of course when she realised I stayed up whole nite till 8am, with my eyes glued to my ipad and not sleeping. I had to stop just to catch a wink so I wouldnt be late for my appointments.... Sigh....

As for footnote....guess what I am going to do during Xmas? Am heading to India! Yup! Off to see Taj Maha and hopefully I wont get sick! Friends have been reminding me to get jabs and stuff... cross fingers!
I heard India is a beautiful place with many lovely architecture and structures. It's about time I explore my own Asia backyard for a change! Well that's all for now my lovely readers. Be back next week!

My Girl friend is Gumiho Ep 16, Final Episode Review and Summary

My Gf is finally over. It's a relatively entertainin series that manage to keep my interest right to the end. Of course the level of humout has decreased significantly which is to be expected but at least they kept to the script and didnt meander away from the ultimate plot.

In the final EP 16, all ends well, again to be expected.

The story opens with Woon asking Miho to show him the number of tails she has left and was utterly stunned when only one tail was left swishing. He asked if she is still heading to death and she hasnt gotten over his desire to become a human and she replied sadly that she never will. However, Miho hid the real truth from Woon, which is that she had already spit out the fox bead on the same day they had split. Unknown to both guys, she was determined to preserve the "half life expectancy" of woon's and return it to him after she is gone/ dead.

Woon was still recoverin from shock that his beloved is still on the path of death and there was nothing he could do...She shared that she figured she would spend her last moments with Hottie Hunter. She was afriad she will blame him for making such unwise decision and end up demanding his remaining life from him. He asked her to take his life but Miho asked him how could he expect her to kill him to stay alive? that will really make her a monster? Also, she wont want to leave any memories in him, so as not to hurt him, so she will go to Hottie Hunter. Woon declared he doesnt care what she is he is bewitched by her, and he just want her to live and if there is such a way, even if it means ripping his heart out, just take it from him!  Miho said he is truly bewitched...so just wait, she will come and claim his life indeed and turn to leave.

Meanwhile, Hottie Hunter was waiting with a heavy heart at home, worrying that Miho may not return after having gone to retrieve the photo album she had left behind at Woon's place. He was visibly relieved and shared his earlier misgiving with Miho when she returned. However to his dismay, Miho started to apologise. He was filled with dread and told her he didnt want to hear Sorry again, since it only dug up painful memories for him that had occured over 1000 years ago. He told Miho that as long she still had one tail, it signified that she still had a fighting chance to beat the odd of dying. In the past, he thought that he was doing the right thing to "acede" to the request of the woman he had loved, this time round, he is determined not to let Miho die. However, Miho showed him the bottle with her fox bead, and dashed his hope with the truth that she had never intended to stay alive..
Miho asked Hottie Hunter for the favor. To lie to Woon and get him to swallow the bead again, so that she can "leave this world" with peace. .She badly wanted to give Woo back his life force by lying to Woon that she wants his life... Hottie Hunter stared at her in disbelief and in almost in tears with her overwhelming desire to sacrifice herself to protect Woon! He said he wont give it to Woon as it would really destroy her. However Miho asked him to give up on her and just fulfil her wish, to find a lie that Woon would not refuse in taking the bead.


 Hottie Hunter met up with Woon, and told Woon that Miho is dying and that she had spit out the bead. The only remaining way to save her is only if Woon swallow the bead again to return to her. However, Woon will have to die to save her. "If it kills me, will you do it and return to Miho to keep her alive?" Hottie hunter nodded but said he can understand if Woon reject. However before he can finished his sentence, without a second of doubt, Woon grabbed the bottle and swallowed the bead whole. The hottie hunter was stunned and speechless. Woon said to guard Miho well the remaining time and come back for him when the 100days is up and return the bead to Miho! "When Woon left, the spying Miho asked Hottie Hunter "My love isnt a fantasy isnt it. He really loved me rite and you were wrong rite?" The hottie hunter who was still trying to overcome in shock finally had to admit that she was right and he was wrong, about Woon;s true and unyielding affection for Miho. With that confirmed, Miho was filled with joy that she had not imagined Woon's love for her. Miho asked Hottie to leave with her and never come back.
 
However, Hottie Hunter looked up Woon and told him the real truth....
 
At the airport, Hottie Hunter approached a waiting Miho and asked if this is really what she wanted. He shared that he had regretted what he did in the past and didnt want to repeat his mistake and regrets, but in the end he was still forced to do what Miho wanted. He said he can only protect her up to here and she should do wat she really want from now on..."I, I cannot die for you...so I did what I can do, I have told Woon the truth..."Miho was crying and said Hottie Hunter is sooo bad and cruel but thank you. Hottie Hunter told her the person who has to leave is him, and the person who can guard her well is him, looking pointedly at Woon who just dashed frantically to the airport looking for them. Hottie Hunter told her to go ahead and the couple looked at each her....Woon with trembling voice told her she is really a bad Gumiho who ripped his heart out and she asked if she can still stay by his side. That said, Woon replied her with a big tight hug.
 
Meanwhile, Samshi fairy mother appeared in mortal world. She figured she had to see for herself since she had promised Miho before that if she can really find a man who love her and willing to marry her, Samshi would turn Miho into human...Samshi sighed to herself no matter what, a promise is a promise...At the airport, Samshi asked Hottie Hunter which was better "Sorry" (the old lover) or "Thank you?"(Miho) Hottie Hunter said Thank you was better and Samshi told him he should be contended then...Hottie gave a weak smile...

With the last remaining days, Woon spend every waking hours with Miho. However on the last day of her moment on earth, nothing they wanted to do could be done..either people were away or places were in service....In the end, they spend the time at home that night watching portable sparklers. Miho was happy saying the sparklers looked like her tail and she is so excited. They spend the last moments at the action school's gym where they had first met. Woon said its a good place since their encounter started here and its befitting to spend the last moments together here. Miho covered his eyes, saying that he should treat their first encounter to this last moment as a dream, so that when he opened his eyes when she is gone, he wont be sad. He asked her not to go. With falling tears, Miho told him to treat it as a very very very good dream and kissed him, as her last tail disappeared and the hour glass dropped its last grain of sand. She was gone....

Woon opened his eyes and recalled their past, started to cry and said outloud, "how could this be a dream?" He collasped and started sobbing desperately with his heart torn to bits....

Next morning, Woon woke and ran out fo the school. He said to himself no matter how sad and cried, he will nevr know as it will nolonger rain when she cries, because she doesnt exist anymore. As he stood dazed in the middle of the road, a van came honking and knocked him down.... as Woon lay on the ground badly wounded, it started to rain. Woon felt his thumping heart and thought to himself that Miho isnt gone and still around!

"Will you send her back" Hottie Hunter asked Samshi. Samshi said with all her tails gone and the fox bead gone, it wont be easy to send Miho back... however who knows, heaven is weird and if Woon waits for Miho tiredlessly, miracles might happen...

During this time, Woon shot to fame with the action flick he was in.  ( there is a small scene where Jeremy-appeared as a model, someone Woon;s desire has set her eyes on! I wasnt sure if it was him since gone wa sthe blond bleach hair but a red hair and he looked alittle put on weight here...heee)

Woon was going to appear in another film, directed by his best fren. However there was a solar eclipse and so the shooting took a break. Hottie Hunter appeared before Woon. They chatted a bit and Hottie Hunter is now a uni professor. Woon commented he is finally mingling with the human population. Hottie asked if Woon is still waiting for Miho and oon said yes as he felt she hasnt gone. Hottie Hunter smiled and shared that with the solar eclipse, strange things may happy when the heaven has gone crazy. Woon wondered what could happen.

As woon waited in the van, he was shocked with Miho's mobile rang! When he answered, he was even more stunned to hear Miho's voice sying "it's me"! He asked desperately if it was real, if it was really her and where she was but she didnt say except to verify it reallty was her and looking at him! Woon dashed out looking for her demanding to know where. She said she is somewhere where he canx see her but is near. Woon ran with all his might searching everywhere but Miho just kept calling his name. before saying she is next to him. The phone call ended as the eclipse was over.

Woon continued to look and just as he started to cry wondering if that was all over, he ranted heaven should return miho to him and not toy with him. In between his sobs, he heard Miho clling him. As he looked up, Miho was standing at the bottom of the stairs waiting for him, smiling. As he ambled towards her, she smiled. he poked her face and said she is real. He asked if she is a ghost? She said she isnt and before she could go on, he hugged her and declared he doesnt care what she is, so long as she is before him, and come back to him. That's all. Both soaked in the happiness as they hugged.

That nite as they watche dthe nite, Miho apolgised for maing him wait but he said it ok since he was prepared to wait at least 50yrs. She asked if he really didnt care what she is? He said its fine but still curious. She teased him to do the hoi hoi thing to find out how many tails, and he said he is nervous but he wouldbt be shock even if 9 tails appeared. However no tail appeared and he exclaimed happily she is human! Miho said he mind afterall...but he kiddingly said its only because he is getting more popular and caring for a 9tail fox may be tricky.... Miho then turned to ask then what happen since she still have one more tail!! They hugged and smiled as her little white tail snuck up from behind and hugged Woon....
