Just finished watching the final episode of Mirae's choice. It's the shittiest cowardly non-ending ending ever. WTF! This series pisses me off.

Episode 7 Summary
This episode finally has Kim Tan making his move.
Continuing from last week, after the convi-ramen encounter.back in the garden at home, Kim Tan asked why did she meet up with Young Do which she said she didnt, it was by chance.
Kim Tan warned Eun Sang not to get involved with Young do anymore. Eun Sang truthfully told Kim Tan that Young do said he wants to protect her and Kim Tan immediately jumped on the point "See! See! That's an obvious threat! For god sake listen to me!" His indignant "I told u so" expression was soooo funny! Haaa haa.
Back inside home, Kim Tan walked into the kitchen, pretending to ask for a drink from his mum but knowing full well that Eun sang is gonna be there hence using the drink as an excuse. His mum not knowing the truth introduce her son to Eun Sang. Kim Tan made an eye signal to Eun Sang to pretend that they are meeting for the first time indeed.
Of course being the cheeky boy he is, he couldnt resist teasing Eun Sang saying "oh I have seen u many times..." and proceed to "mock" that he had been wondering who country pumpkin was all along..."so it was you" he joking said. "Nice to meet you and see you around", to which the mum quickly replied that there's No need for them to meet often. Lol!
When Kim Tan walked out of the kitchen (and hover outside evasdropping), his mum warned Eun Sang not to be over familiar with Kim Tan in school and to rem her "servant;y" place. As well, she is to report back to mum everything she knows or hears about Kim Tan in school. Eun Sang caught off guard asked"report?", but the mum retorted about Eun Sang going to school for free. Hearing the whole thing, Kim tan's mood is as sourish as Eun Sang for different reasons.
The next morning, Kim Tan was waiting out in the cold at the front gate.
Eun Sang had a shock when she bumped into a waiting Kim Tan outside the main gate. Apparently he was on a "stake out" mission to figure out how early she leaves the house since he has not once bumped into her when he goes to school every morning. He asked if she was avoiding him, hence leaving so early in the morn. Eun Sang replied it wasnt merely just to avoid him and started to head away.
Before she could walk away or refuse, Kim Tan grabbed her hand and walked towards the waiting cab stating would he be wasting time, waiting for her so damn early in the morn if he is to let her go to school alone? Eun Sang was about to protest further but Kim Tan warned her not to waste time arguing, refering to the CCTV above them. With that, he shoved her into the cab and headed for school.
Then comes my fav can scene!
Saying it with a uber duber cutie pie boy smile, Kim Tan started narrating to Eun Sang:
"Everyone loves Kim Tan, because he is good looking. Kim Tan does well in school, because he is good looking. Kim Tan..." Eun Sang interrupted him and asked what is he going on about? Kim Tan told her frankly that he had overheard his mum's instruction to Eun sang on reporting about Kim tan, and told her that these are the phrases she could use to patronize his mum.
Eun Sang frowned and asked if she was to lie but Kim Tan cheekily replied "Which part of it is false?" (Haaaa haaa! I have to hand it to him!!!) Shaking her head and giving up, Eun Sang replied "Oh forget it..."
Kim Tan wasnt done yet and commented that Eun Sang sure said "yes" in a jiffy when his mum asked her to spy on him, but Eun Sang replied likeas if she could ever say No in that household. Kim Tan then said so that's why she could repeatedly say No to him on so many occasions. Even Eun Sang had to smile at that fact. Kim Tan looked at her and persisted again for the reason for her early departure. Eun Sang had wanted to avoid all those expensive cars coming every morn, but hid truth from Kim Tan and lied "Traffic"She told the driver to drop her off near school but Kim Tan objected and told the driver to head straight to school. Eun Sang said they couldnt be seen arriving together but Kim Tan assured her that there will be NO ONE that early in school to witness anything. Plus it will only be for this once for them to go school together, since he doesnt want to wake up THAT early again anyway. (Haaaa haaa lazy pig)
Eun Sang was about to object again when Kim Tan pointed out of the window and went "Ahhh!"

Eun Sang turned to look and Kim Tan quickly leaned over to rest his head on her shoulder, faking tiredness commenting that "I;m sleepy. It's all your fault that I had to wake up so early" (This is my fav scene!! Lee Minho looked absolutely cute to death when he did the fake pointing!!! I couldnt stop laughing!)
Caught off guard (trust me, not in a bad way), Eun Sang asked what Kim Tan was doing but he merely replied her "We are getting off together", before adding a compliment "The uniform really looks good on you"Eun Sang smiled to herself hearing that...(I bet her heart must be fluttering by now!!!)
Once in school, Kim Tan like a boy suffering from serious crush was following behind Eun Sang quietly.
Looking at her from behind, Kim Tan finally couldnt resist it and walk forward, taking her scrunchie off her hair, much to Eun Sang's surprise. She told him to give it back to her but Kim Tan told her she should let her hair down instead. They were interrupted by another schoolmate (I like the part that Kim Tan grabbed Eun Sang towards him...but as to why? I dont quite get it.) The guy fren was still trying to figure out why she looked so familiar and thinking if it could be the niteclub but Kim Tan quickly defended her saying she doesnt go to such places, only to quickly to add on (after the fren asked how would u know?!) that even clubs will pick their client! and Kim Tan quickly walked away from her thereafters, leaving her with a silent protest stuck at her lips. Haaa haaaa (It was funny too when later in a different scene, Kim tan snuck up behind her and yank her hair band off again! It reminds me of little nottie boys pulling pigtals in school. hahahaha)
(I'm gonna skip over the whole part on mum and bro)
On a separate day after the elder bro brushed off Kim tan again, Kim Tan saw Eun Sang coming back from school and stopped her, asking her why hasnt she returned him his Dream catcher? He demanded her to bring it to the wine cellar and then asked her to stay for a song. (he played her fav song sooo sweet).
Kim Tan asked about her song and she admitted that it was her fav song, about likely someone madly. Kim Tan got all intensely jealous and demanding, asking her if she had been in love? when was that? before america? Only to look visibly relieved and happy that she replied. "I didnt say it was a guy." (Oh Kim Tan you jealous jealous jealous cutie) Then he had that all knowing oh-i-see look after she replied his query that it was her sister. Kim asked if she still wishes to go to states but she said not necessarily so, so long its not in Korea. Kim asked if Korea was still bearable after her return, but she replied in a resigned tone "Still part time, part time everyday, though changing of school was a surprise change". Kim Tan told her then that she can asked him for help anytime she needed it. Eun Sang looked at him "No, its not necessary though I appreciate your thoughts" They continue to chat alittle more until Kim Tan said "Can I ask you a question?" which Eun Sang immediately said "No."
Kim Tan was like "Why are u saying no even before you know what I am gonna ask?"
Eun Sang honestly replied "Because all your questions are dangerous" She thanked him for the song and left. While watching her walk out of the wine cellar, Kim muttered to himself that he wasnt even done saying the things yet.
Scene changes to Eun Sang alone in her "room", deep in thoughts. She recalled all the "questions" that Kim Tan had previously asked her. "Am I falling for you?" (America movie scene) " Eun Sang, am I thinking of you?" (Garden identity revelation scene). While Eun Sang have a big sigh at those memories, Kim Tan was alone in wine cellar thinking of her.
Next day in school, Young do isolated Eun Sang in class and when Bo Na pushes her way into the class to find out what happened, Young do grabbed both ladies bags and emptied the contents.
It was illuminating the difference in contents, that Eun Sang's stuff obviously does not belong to any rich gal.
Young do asked Bo Na if Eun Sang was really rich but she didnt want to reply because of what her dear bf had previously asked her not to do (reveal Eun Sang's real background). Just then Bo Na's bf, Chang young came in and ended the incident. When Kim Tan heard about it, he was all antsy and anxious in class wondering if Eun Sang is ok. Rachel watched Kim Tan's worried face helplessly yet knowingly that her man is in love with someone else.
After class, Kim Tan rushed to look for Eun Sang but only to discover Young do at his worst again bullying the "poor boy". Instead of pretending not to see, Kim Tan finally used the scene to act out his anger (about Eun Sang being bullied earlier) and punched Young do's face. We found out later as to why the two best fren split, with Young do insulting Kim Tan's birth origin when he had told him the secret (being son of 3rd woman) to console his fren. That's how they become "enemies".
In the library, Eun Sang received a call from Young do, using the "poor boy" as blackmail to demand her to go to his place to have ramen together. Not having any choice, she went and her presence in Young do's room was discovered by chance by Rachel who wanted to confront Young do's plan to destroy their parent's wedding plan/ family photo shoot.
Rachel called Kim Tan later to reveal Eun Sang's whereabout. (Now why would our Princess Rachel call Kim Tan to tell him that? To make your man more jealous about another gal?!! Not the wisest move Rachel)
Unable to bear the thought nor holding bck his worries that young do might do her harm since she was not answering her phone, Kim Tan rushed out to find Eun Sang, relieved to see her at her cafe workplace.
He dragged her out and asked her about the visit to Young do;s place. She explained that she felt compelled to help the poor boy since obviously he did not expose her real identity to save her from potential bullying. Kim Tan was exasperated and told her to stop doing things that will make him worry.
Eun Sang snapped back that he should be the one to stop disrupting her life as she is tired enough from all the work and worries and now she obviously has a big target on her from Young do, no thanks to Kim tan. It was also getting more and more uncomfy seeing him everyday as well."I dont have great dreams, except just to graduate smoothly and go to work by 20yo. That's all I ask for but right now, i really dont know what to do"
"Need me to tell you what to do?" Kim Tan looked at her seriously.
"Move out of my place immediately tomorrow." Kim Tan said solemnly to a frustrated Eun Sang near tears and Eun Sang was shocked at that harsh demand.
"You can't? Yet you still want to continue school? Then from this moment, fall for me. if possible, fall for me as sincerely as you can. Because, I have already Fallen for you."
Eun Sang looked up in shock at a staring Kim Tan who was finally letting his feelings flow.
(Eun Sang did a gulp while Kim Tan looked at her with a pleading "like me back" look)
The ending was sooooooo bloody good that I was screaming in excitement and dying from anticipation. OMG! OMG! OMG!!! Just shoot me already Kim Tan! You sure know how to confess to a gal! Lol!

Mirae's choice....after Episode 6, my interest is waning.
Just finished watching "Mirae's choice" (Marry him if you dare) espisode 6 and I was kinda like "Nooooooooo!!!" I want Se joo to win. I'm so sick of him playing second fiddle all the time and never getting the gal...though technically the gal he was supposed to have was the TV presenter afterall...but still.
I started this series mainly for Jung Yong Hwa being in it. To be honest, his acting chops was rather non existent even up to "Addicted to you" drama after "YAB" but in here, I noticed that he was somewhat more natural like a fish in water. His smile...damn those dazzling smile!!!! He can leave me zombified just thinking about those smile or even pondering looks the whole day after watching an episode....
I had liked this drama when it first aired because primarily Lee Dong Gun as Shin is soooooo adorable and infuriating at the same time, while Yong as Se-Joo is just plain yummilicious, seemingly like a (uber rich) underdog I want to root for, emotionally that it. However, it's abit annoying that he is playing second lead and second fiddle again. Arrrrghhh the injustice to our Ikeman!!!
However by episode 4, the excitement wore off and while both male leads are still very watchable, I cant say the plot itself is as enticing as some other better dramas. It's getting to be a little draggy and while I know its to develop Shin's character (change) and his feelings for Mi-Rae, still, I get impatient at the "Oh I dont know which guy to choose" part.
Of course we all know that Mi-Rae is going to end up with Shin at the rate its going and with so little hang out opportunity with Se Joo. That's what making watching this drama so painful, that Se-Joo stands no chance at all with Mi-rae. He's just like a blooper in her life, no thanks to Auntie Mi-rae. What makes it more unbearable is the pairing of Sejoo with Yoo Kyung the presenter. I dont like her character. Of course the drama tries now to turn down her bitchy level but too late, damage done. No matter what, I will feel like Se Joo is a sucker to marry her.
The problem with the twist is that the plot doesnt account very well how Yoo Kyung's rumoured relationship with Shin can die down soooo fast. And how Se Joo a person who is on his guard will reveal and care for Yoo Kyung so quickly.
In this episode 6, what annoys me the most was the post arson scene when Se Joo went to check on Mirae. Seeing her with Shin was like a shock and pang, that I get but what I dont get is why does he need to listen to that annoying Yoo Kyung to not approach Mi-Rae?
Seriously dude, if you REALLY like the gal, you would naturally ignore anyone who stops you and rush to the chick to ask if she is ok regardless if there is a rival. That's natural human behavior no? Plus who gives the nosy presenter';s opinion a rat arse? what gives her the right to tell Se Joo what to do, apart that we all know it's her own selfish desire of not wanting to see Se Joo with Mi rae at work here, rather than genuinely caring for anyone's feelings?
The ending part when he smiled after Mi rae offered to give him a quick massage on his shoulder, that smile...the "I thought I lost you but hey I'm not out of the game yet" smile...hahaha. He truly is like a little boy here!
I like Shin. I do. I too like his slow change in character and stop being such an tightarse living by principle and understandable outcast. The part where he initiated to hold Mi-rae's hand and stuck it in his jacket pocket was soooo "Oh my, look at you, you rascal" Hahahaha. I gave an excited yelp here! haha
However the thing is, much that I like Se Joo too, he being the next heir, he can play hardball (because he has to think from the perspective as a business owner) which might be too much for sensitive innocent Mirae.
The only problem is I cant stand Yoo Kyung. It's ok if Se Joo ends up with someone else but HER? They dont even look good physically together. She looks too old for him. I would have much prefered if they paired him up with someone who is equally professional but not bitchy, but quietly rooting for Sejoo and finally having her feelings reciprocated later. At least then I can feel happy ending for 2 couples instead of 1.
Oh well....I'm losing hope for this series but thankfully there is still "THE HEIRS", oh my Lee Minho as delightful rich boy with much angst & sorrow - Kim Tan. In comparison, the heir is keeping me glued and hungry for more while my desire to watch Mirae choice is waning off.
Lee Minho is simply irresistable here...OMG. he is soooooo freaking cute. The smile, the hair, the everything! I'm swooning!

J-Drama: Family Game/ 家族ゲーム
If you havent been watching Japanese Drama much, or were only solely captivated by Galileo 2, you should be watching "Kazoku Game" (Family Game/ 家族ゲーム)
I didnt watch it because of Arashi's star.
I watched it because it was plain gripping and good, in a mysterious yet funny way.
The plot is engaging, a quick touch on the current society problems faced by many Japanese families in terms of relationships, school bullying etc. Heavy topics at first glance but well executed in a relatively light way without being preachy or superficial.
Sho Sakurai, I have to concede, portrayed his role well (I have no expectations to begin with) as the private family tutor who has a "past". His unusual tactics and manner is the key to the whole plot. What is his hidden agenda? What demons are he fighting...what is the secret he is hiding
This isnt a new drama, but a reprise of a 1983's version, except they added one new character.
I was told the original version was very well received as well and hit a cord with its audience.
I did not watch the relic but this updated version did good by me, keeping me entertained and gnawing my nails urging for new episodes. Each new episode couldnt come fast enough for me, and if it means I have to stay up to watch at 3am after it gets loaded, I would.
So if u havent jumped onto the wagon for this, I highly recommend that you do.
I didnt watch it because of Arashi's star.
I watched it because it was plain gripping and good, in a mysterious yet funny way.

K-Music: T-ARA Cry Cry
Ok I am officially in Cha Seung Won obsessive mode now. Hahahaha! Went to goggle and realised he was part of T-Ara's music video for their 4th album.
The MV is surprisingly good and I couldnt believe it went under my radar for a year! The 2nd part when Seung won was dying and she was screaming at him not to close his eyes was so freaking touching!
He is so freaking sauve and charismatic, not to mention those hot 6 packs abs, and it's amazing how a hairstyle can change a person'slook. Saw some of his older pictures with longer hair and he didnt look as good as he is now. *drool*
Anycase, now my head is bobbing with Cry Cry (both versions) and Lovey Dovey.

K-drama: The Greatest Love
Right after Cityhall, I started on "The Greatest Love" series, primarily due to Cha Seung Won.
Personally, watching Cityhall and The Greatest Love back to back, I still prefer Cityhall though The greatest Love is more lighthearted but somehow the lead actress Gong Hyo Jin isnt very appealing to me, so it somewhat muted the likeability of the show for me.
Storyline
In The Greatest Love, Cha Seung Won starred as Dokko Jin, a top korean movie star at the peak of his career but has a egoistic personality. His life started to change upon a chanced encounter with Ae Jung (starring Hyo Jin), a non-likable artist who used to be from the most popular girl band The National Treasure Girls 10 years ago. However, after the band disbanded, Ae Jung bore most of the blame and was disliked for the last 10 years despite her caring and sincere personality.
Although Dokko jin was eager to rid any encounter with Ae Jung initially, yet through a series of accidents and incidents, Dokko's heart started to react strongly to Ae Jung esp through one of her hit songs.
As he got to know her, Dokko jin slowly started to fall for her and got jealous of Pil Joo, a Traditional oriental medicine who happened to be on a "Couple Making" program with Ae Jung.
Truth is, Pil Joo had liked Ae Jung from the start and he too fell for her good nature in real life and wanted to protect her from all the sadness and (internet fan) viciousness that accompanies the entertainment industry.
Ae Jung had a secret to keep for the reason of the disband but was unwilling to spill the beans. So for the past decade she suffered alot of hate but she continued to look forward to fight for airtime to survive in this industry. After her encounter with Dokko, her luck seemed to get better but with occasional sabotage from her ex bandmate and ex manager, Ae Jung couldnt seem to shed the series of bad luck and misunderstanding that plague most of her career.

Cityhall Drama
After "Kim San Soon" and "You are beautiful", Cityhall is gonna be the next Korean drama I want to rush out and get the retail DVD copies after finishing the drama.
Damn! This will a series I will want to watch over and over.
I started the drama without high expectations honestly and when I was done with it, I couldnt bear the thought it was over and filled with such a vaccum that I had to go google MVs to satisfy my itch.
The plot isnt new, but both the lead actor and actress brought the series alive with their chemistry, witty expressions and solid performance.
Cha Seung Won isnt the sort I would say strikingly handsome at first glance but he sure hell grew on me over the last few days with my obsessive complusive gluing myself to the screen just to see his cheeky smile. And for a 42year old actor, he is freaking well kept and i love the manliness about him that sends my veins throbbing with excitement. I love a manly man and a dash of charisma...damn that hotness!
If you havent watched Cityhall, and you liked Kim San soon, you should watch this. It took me a while to come on board but there is no regrets. As I am typing this, I am wishing for morn to come soon so that I can dash out to buy the DVD.
I'm gonna stop typing and just gonna rewatch the MV below to tame my urge for now...

City Hall OST: Loving, Loving You
>
My current fav song in my playlist - Loving, Loving You (CItyhall OST)
My current fav song in my playlist - Loving, Loving You (CItyhall OST)
There was this scene when the lead actor was crying when he thought his heart was breaking...I had to hold my breath to stop myself from wanting to cry too...so freaking touching with this song playing in the background.
Gosh...this drama is like 2 thumbs up!!
[English Translation]
I must be in love
Because i only see you
Your wandering in my head/thoughts everyday
I must be in love
My heart doesn't even know you
But wherever, whatever i do
Only thoughts of you pop up
I don't know, but this is love
CHORUS
When you smile/laugh i too become happy and start to smile
Like a child lost in dreams, i adore you
My world crashes down when i see your face sad
You don't know these feelings of mine
Although i've never once told
Although i couldn't say i love you
When i open my eyes i only see you
I see you even when my eyes are closed
I don't know, but this is love
CHORUS
When you smile/laugh i too become happy and start to sm
Like a child lost in dreams, i adore you
My world crashes down when i see your face sad
You don't know these feelings of mine
Because I don't know anything but you
I hold my breath even at your slightest motions
I'm scared of losing this love
I'm a blind fool who like a mirror, only follows you
I live hugging onto this love that cannot be heard
Because of my fear that i may startle you into leaving
Loving, loving, loving you, is how i'm going to live
You don't know these feelings of mine
I love you and only you

Manga/ Anime: Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun
One of my current fav manga and anime is "Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun" (Alternative name: My Neighbor is a Strange Classmate, The Monster Next to Me)
Basically the story revolves round Mizutani and Yoshida Haru. Haru is a weird guy that has no friends because of his violent nature (troublemaker) and was convinced that Mizutani is his first friend when she was obliged to pass him his assignment during his school suspension.
Haru is surprisingly innocent in the way of life but highly intelligent, which annoys Mizutani who is a very diligent student but always fall behind Haru who never seemed to study.
The two formed an unusual friendship which seemed to evolved into liking each other after Haru confessed to Mizutani. Mizutani was was also innocent in the department of love had to find out how to deal with this confession and her own feelings about Haru.
However, both of them will have to deal with a secret past. What is the exact relationship between Haru and his brother. Why did Haru turn out to be so violent? What was his past and how will their relationship turn out?
Missing Piece Vid - Theme Song for Piece Drama
For some unknown reason, I kept laughing when I watched this music video. It somehow strike me as very corny and the dance moves they made him do it was so "Sissy" and so 80's boyband, with the hands waving and those slow butt swishes around movements...lol! It's so OMG! I was laughing so hard coz it's like "Oh I wanna shit...i can feel it coming now! oh yeah!"
I dont think he is very comfortable in his skin as an artist yet given his young age, you could almost see him trembling at the end, and his very awkward "should I smile or not" in one of the close up...
I'm sorry to upset any fans of his but its's really funny...i watched this video like 5 times and I am still chuckling away...

Matchbox Twenty - Parade [2012][Lyrics]
If you are wondering what is the the English insert song in the recent Piece Japanese drama, look no further :)
Lyrics
From the new album "North".
Lyrics:
When the slow parade went past
When it felt so good you knew it couldn't last
And all too soon the end was gonna come without a warning
And you'd have to just go home
And the way it all went by
And somebody said "come on its getting late"
And you thought the world might end if you just looked the other way
And now you wish that you had stayed
And there's so much more that you could see if you just stick around
And all the street light secrets whispering for you to come back out
Oh no
There's so much more that you need to work out
Oh no
You don't want that parade to leave you now
And the days are all the same
And the town so big and no one knows your name
And the people fade away
And all stars are just a flicker
And you're left there all alone
When there's so much more that you could see if you just stick around
And all the street light secrets whispering for you to come back out
Oh no
There's so much more that you need to work out
Oh no
You don't want that parade to leave you now
When the music's over
But the song stays in your head
Oh no
There's so much more that you need to work out
Oh no
You don't want that parade to leave you now
Yeah
There's so much more that you need to work out
Yeah
You don't want that parade to leave you now

J-Drama: Piece Drama review and Synopsis
Have just finished watching PIECE drama...good!
Started on the series without knowing a thing about it and it was decent enough to keep me glued till the last episode.
Acting wise is still pretty raw and amateurish. It's not that bad but just that you can tell that they are more like delivering the lines than an actual conversation. That said, the drama was shot in a slightly more manga love scene-close up approach than the normal TV manner and I like it, as well the plot was riveting to keep me guessing. What's more, I loved the Matchbox Twenty song they inserted throughout the series. It's such a mood enhancer with the "Parade" playing through...
I havent read the manga, so I do not that know if there are alterations to the actual story but not having known anything, it's a good series to follow and watch.
The video below has more scene highlights from the video which prob goes hand in hand with the spoiler synop.
"Piece" Story Summary (Spoiler)
The whole story revolved around these two protagonists - Narumi and Suga who were classmates back in senior high when they were still 17yo, with the scene starting at a funeral of a common classmate-Origuchi, when everyone is already in uni at 19yo.
Back in high school, Narumi is an "playboy" in school who obviously do not care for anyone's feelings and oblivious to expectations. He did what he liked and always has a cool demeanour. He is known to change girlfriends rapidly as if they were a change of clothes but the girls were strangely all still attracted to him, despite his notoriety.. A girl who got dumped once confronted Narumi in the school corridor about his attitude, but all Narumi offered to her was that he never once said he liked her. He only went out with her because she was willing to sleep with him.
Suga on the other hand is a diligent, and prim and proper gal who is completely opposite in character with Narumi. Suga deliberates about every action of hers, and never stray out of line. However, on a chanced incident where she had forgotten her text, that began her encounter with Narumi and their journey together.
The truth was, Suga was strangely attracted to Narumi and his inexplicable nonchalance. Narumi had a way of seeing through her and it bothered her that he seemed to read her well. So one day during the start of their summer break, she decided not to be a "good girl" and decided to do what she like instead, to head out and eat curry rice instead of eating what her mum had already prepared for her. By chance, Narumi saw her joy of delight and the two of them ended up together for the afternoon after Narumi offered a choice to go on an unplanned trip to nowhere in particular. "To go, or Not to go. Which is it?"
A hesitant Suga gave it 3 secs thought but decided to go along with Narumi, thoroughly enjoying herself and realising in one moment that both she and Narumi, are alike in someways. Their inability to relate to other people. During the bus ride, Suga told Narumi that she loves bus ride when she was a kid because she got lost once and relish the freedom and new unexpected wonders of the ride. When she turned around to look at Narumi, he was sleeping and didnt seem to hear her.
Towards the end of the trip on a beach, a bunch of hooligans approached Narumi but Narumi told them they had mistaken him for someone else. Yet when they started to harasses Suga, Narumi turned violent and punched the guy to the ground and Suga thinking Narumi might actually kill the guy shoved him away to stop the fight. When Narumi kissed a shivering Suga, he looked at her and asked "Why do you always have an expressionless face when I kissed you?"Suga didnt know what to say even though in truth, her heart was leaping when he kissed her.
In reality, Narumi has built a barrier round himself to prevent anyone getting close to him, while Narumi has an intrinsic appearance of being cold and non caring, making her unapproachable to many. Yet, around Narumi, Suga was happy and intrigued by him.
After the summer break, Suga bumped into Narumi at the bustop after school. Narumi at the bus entrance gave Suga another choice "To Board, or Not to Board? Which is it?" Suga recalled the wrong bus ride which she had taken when she was young. She realised there are 4 types of people in this world: 1. The type who never board the bus wrongly. 2. The people who always board the wrong bus. 3. The type who board the wrong bus and got off immediately and turned back to the right direction, 4. The type who boarded the wrong bus but persist on continuing the journey in the wrong direction.
(Note: I believe this is in reference to the choices and mistakes that people make in life)
Suga realised then that she was the 4th type. She boarded the bus, knowing the full implication and held Narumi's hand.
IN Narumi's room, he started to kiss her and proceeded to take off Suga's clothes. However at the last minute, Suga backed out and told him she couldnt go through with it. She offered instead only kisses and hugs and Narumi groaned out loud that wasnt fair. Then Narumi walked out of the room saying he is going to sleep in the living room now.
Suga discovered with shock at the mess the living room was. Apparently Narumi lived alone and a Kaseifu comes in once a week to clean up the mess. Narumi's mum has never lived with him. While enjoying the afternoon with Narumi, Suga made a deal with Narumi to come back again. Narumi said ok but not Fridays. Suga asked why not and Narumi said that was the day the cleaning lady will come. Suga then grinned and told Narumi that in that case, that will be the day she will come.
Came the following Friday, Narumi was waiting for Suga at the busstop near his place. When Suga got off, he asked her why did she have to take the later bus and Suga told him candidly that she didnt want others in school to find out that she was hanging out with Narumi the notorious playboy.
Back at Narumi's house, Suga greeted the Kaseifu but was met with a cold reception, warning her that a girl should treasure her old body and not regret it as her body will "remember" who it has been with. Suga smiled and politely told her that she will not do anything that she will regret, in a way assuring the cleaning lady that she will not be having sex with Narumi.
Instead, every Friday afternoon, Suga goes to Narumi's room and they both just hugged each other to sleep. Apart from the kissing and hugging, Suga was content and happy that nothing further progress. One afternoon, Narumi told Suga "I have gotten use to you sleeping by my side that I cannot sleep soundly without u now."
In school, Narumi continued the act of flirting openly with other girls. However, he drew the line when it comes to requests from girls to going to his place. Suga overheared that he would tell the other girls that his place is under renovation and so it wasnt possible for them to come over.
However over time, Suga started to fall in love with Narumi and it was getting harder for her to let everything stay as it is. So she told Narumi one day she couldnt go to his place anymore. There are too many things she wanted to know about Narumi but his wall was steadfast. It was hard on her to be away from him and so one Friday she decided to head to Narumi place but no one was in. She found the locked room opened and peered inside to find out the secret inside. To her horror, it was rows and rows of report and video on Narumi since he was a child. His mother, a renowned pyshcologist had used Narumi as an experiment and placed him under surveillance and controlled environment to study him, resulting in the weird distrusting character of narumi over time.
Narumi angry with Suga for digging into his secret told her he do not need her anymore. With that, it ended their secret dates.
To present day, Origuchi mum at the furneral requested Suga to find out the truth about her daughter. The mum revealed that Origuchi had an abortion and she wanted to know the father. Suga was reluctant at first but conceded in the end. The journey to discover the truth begins.
In the end, Origuchi wasnt the one who had an abortion, and Suga finally met Narumi's brother Hiro who was also placed under the same controlled monitoring by their mother. Hiro was the guy that Origuchi had fallen for but because of the experiments, Hiro could never be physically intimate with a woman. Narumi delivered the letter from Origuchi before she got sick and died. Hiro cried reading it. It said "I really like you."
After the mystery was solved, Narumi told Suga that their paths will never cross again probably and walked off. Suga however ran after Narumi and hugged him , telling him that she liked him and had loved their times together and she will wait for his return to see her again. With that, they went their separate ways.

Suga however ran after Narumi and hugged him , telling him that she liked him and had loved their times together and she will wait for his return to see her again. With that, they went their separate ways.

Dramas for the month..Nov 2012
Sorry guys...been a long while. I am assuming everyone here is watching Monster since Yamapi is in it.
To be frank, while I like Yamapi and usually likes his series, yet I have to say this is NOT his best work and I'm not impressed. The director tried to make him too much of a "clown" detective and it wasnt delivered very naturally. Some scenes looked almost forced with hesitation.I dont think Yamapi is a bad actor but he definitely need to brush up more to be a more versatile actor based on skills instead of a cute face with a strong J agency backing.
On the other hand, I really like Shingo. His "Sona ma ma" is hilarious! His switches from his fake smiley face to serious thinking face is very convincing and sooo wicked!. All I can say is he aced it and he is actually the pillar of strength for this series.
At the same time, I am following Tokyo Airport.
The lead actress Fukada Kyoko is pretty but her bod...OMG! Am I being evil if I say the way she stand as in her posture, seems to indicate that she has super big tits or what? It's always so "in the face" feeling. It's very hard to take her seriously as an actress for some reason.
I keep thinking she should be in some X rated mag or something. (And i'm not even a GUY for heaven's sake!!!) Abit too surreal. However, that aside, it's quite a nice light drama to follow.
What REALLY surprises me and being the flavor of the month for me is actually the Taiwanese drama "Love Now"
OMG!!!! The lead actor is sooooooooooooooooooo CUTE. I have seen him in other dramas before and while I thot then "Not bad", yet in this, my eyes went Blink Blink and first thot "HOT!" Maybe its the hair but I couldnt stop drooling over him in this series.....Yum!!! Hee heee. The plot is ok too!

Catching up on Japanese drama
I have been like missing in action like forever... It's getting harder to blog because I havent spent much time watching anything until recently!
I have stayed off Korean drama for a long time since Secret Garden. I watched one called Fashion King and it was so utterly stupid & absurd that I was cursing myself for wasting time on that piece of crap drama.
If you havent watch Fashion King, DONT. It's a freaking piece of crap drama. Half the time I was like groaning in disgust at the bunch of nitwits. The initial few epi was ok but then it got overboard and became stupid. I had to fast forward episode just to complete the series so that i can know how bad it is. My friend started watching it and halfway through, I told him it was bad and he was skeptical. When he finished it, his comment was "WHAT THE HELL!!!?! #$%%^" So that sums up our views about that time wasting drama.
Meanwhile, I think recent Japanese drama seemed promising!!! I am watching the current remake of "GTO 2012", "Rich Man Poor woman" and this investigative mystery series. All these 3 drama are keeping me really busy.
To start with GTO 2012.
Okie, initially I was skeptical about the lead. He seemed abit too scrawny and unnatural for the role. However by the 3rd epi, I was slowly getting use to him, not to mention that Shirota (as Ryuji)& Yusuke (as Saejima) as his buddies. Is it me or Shirota looked as if he gained quite a bit of weight in this series? He looked abit round....but still cute of coz.
Hahaha. However, I do missed the original GTO cast with Takashi because everyone are soooooo cute in there, including the students such as Ikeuchi Hiroyuki, Tokuyama Hudenori, Oguri Shun who are all now big stars in their own rights. Need I go on? Not to mention Takashi really NAILED the role down perfectly and left an indestructible image in my young mind back then. This time round, none of the students stood out. Are Japanese suffering from lack of good looking boys and girls now? This batch looked so bland and blah except for the short hair gal.
"Rich Man Poor woman"
Starring my fav Shun Oguri as the eccentric self made IT dude who basically says what he thinks, and his greatest flaw was his inability to rem names and faces. So the story goes that he is looking for his mum who ditched him when he was still a kid. However, he chanced upon this Tokyo uni girl (looking for a job) who claimed to have the same name as his mother during one of the recruitment drive and he rem her, shocking everyone around him. I am up to epi 3 and I am glued. Shun is really funny and cute here. No doubt about it. I will follow this drama till the end!!!!!
The third drama Mystery I am watching, is like watching multiple novels adapted to TV drama.

Each episode is a self standing story about murder cases with the twists and turns. I like it. Each episode has great leads in it and being a sucker for mystery cases, this series had me hooked!
The 4th series that I am backtracking to is "Cleopatra no onnatachi"
I have just started on this and it looked probably interesting. The topic revolves around this male cosmetic surgeon who had posted from the Mainstream hospital to working in a private esthetics's cosmetic makeover surgery salon.
The guy is obviously struggling to cope because he cannot understand nor accept the fact that there are people out there who would go under the knife to so call "beautify" themselves when there is nothing wrong with them. Previously in hospital, his surgery was to only aid those who suffered from accidents and grafting etc that truly required help. Hence, thrown into this new environment, he found it hard to reconcile his disgust and dismay but yet having to stick it out because of the heavy loan he had to pay off (i think coupled with the 300M yen debt his father left behind to him). He was abandoned by his folks when he was a kid and he never forgave his mum, that added his distrust and dislike for woman in general. I think the idea of the drama (not sure yet at this point since I havent finished watching) is about the perception of "beauty" and why some would pursue the idea of beauty relentlessly while some are content with their looks, and why one should not be so judgemental about those who go under the knife.
It was interesting after the first epi when they interviewed common people on the streets about what they like about their face and almost everyone would say there are parts they didnt like etc...It was interesting for me because I had never thought about my face that way, as in altering it to make it better.

Manga/Anime: Kuroko no Basket
If you do read manga, and if you havent pick this up, you should!
Kuroko no Basket (Basket =Basketball in Japanese written in Katagana) is addictive!!
I honestly love this man. Okie, granted it's a shounen manga and it's all about basketball but it's damn addictive. Spent last 2 days reading the manga non stop because it was really hard to put down a good storyline.
If you like SlamDunk, I think you will like this though it's direction reminds me more of Prince of Tennis. Even a couple characters drawn reminded me somewhat of Prince of Tennis. Unless u are a die hard romance Shoujo manga reader only and doesnt care a hood about good storytelling, then this should interest you. It's also rather comical in some chapters that had been laughing quite a bit!
The story starts with a brand new high school Seirin with a brand new basketball team which is only 1 year old, and the seniors doing their recruitment drive. In comes the main character Kagami kun who is determined to be the No1 Basketball player in Japan. Then comes in the other lead character, a mysterious veteran player that no one seemed to "notice".
Apparently, in the middle school, there is one school that dominates the whole game throughout because it has 6 super talented and amazing prodigies players labelled as "Generation of Miracles". They have never lost, have super skills and amazing precision. However, people only rem the 5 players and the 6th was the phantom player and no one knows what he does or who he is.
So the story starts there where the phantom player is Kuroko Tetsuya, someone with so little presence that people always do not notice his existence and that was his skill in basketball. he acknowledges Kagami's burning passion and love for the game and made a pact with him to be his "shadow" and enable him to achieve his wish as No.1.
The chapters developed, about friendship, determination, and challenges they faced with each competition. One by one, Kagami and Kuroko starts to face his past teammates in competitions and that's the exciting part. There's no filler chapters, each week is filled with excitement one after another!
I'm reading up to chapter 140 and still suckered in. Reading pace gotten slower because for the last 4 chapters are no "subbed" and in Japanese so that took a bit longer to digest. However, it's so good that I really cannot just start at the cliff hanger!!
Personally, I like this even better than Prince of Tennis! I want to see how Kuroko developed his skills and grow! Luckily there isnt any major love scene in this series yet and please please stay that way so as not to detract from the focus, The Game!!!
Currently, they have adapted the manga into anime and it's into Ep 3. Those interested can watch the English subbed anime here.

T-drama: Absolute Darling
Nothing much to watch or rather, I havent been actively watching dramas hence the silence.
If you dont already know it, the Taiwanese version of "Absolute Boyfriend" aka Zettai Kareshi is currently airing under the name of "Absolute Darling" in Mandarin.
Of course we knew about the shooting of the drama since early last year, when Wuzun was still cast as the leading man...which he opted out after he did not renew his contract. At the same time, I too lost sight of this project.
While I wasnt surprised by the replacement with Jiro, however...I was completely blown away by how buff Jiro was in this drama..omg the 6 packs....!!!!!! It was a OoLala and Mamamiya moment!!
I have since watched 2 episodes and its...well..ok. It's not bad. I kinda like Jiro's version of Night. At least he isnt as robotic as the Japanese version which suit me better because he is suppose to be an advance prototype just as like the manga.
However the fatal and typical weak point is the overly lengthy, draggy and unnecessary monologue of the salesguy Lei Wu Wu. I dont deny we need the character but the jokes they try to make fell flat, insipid and unoriginal. How many times can an idiot laugh over "names mixup" or act stupid expressions? I know his role is essential but please, stop making him talk and appear so unnecessarily to the point of boring me to death. Out of the whole full length ep2, I prob fast forward at least 50% and all almost all the scene involved him. After all these years, after having produced quite a good few flicks, yet the drama industry seem to be growing at snail's pace with many Taiwanese directors and script writers still resorting to lame banter and primary school jokes, which in itself is kinda sad reflection of the industry.
Anycase, back to drama.
Nothing much to say about the plot since everyone should know the main storyline by now. However they changed it mildly from the Japanese version with Zong Shi (the other guy who likes the lead actress) being a colleague. Also, they changed the lead actress character to be a little bit of under achiever meaning she is not an OL, but office errand girl. Jiro will be joining the company as an employee. All these of course is opposite of the manga but let's see how this goes.
I havent decided if I will like or dislike this but so far, it's less annoying that Skip Beat which is rather tasteless because of bad acting primarily the lead actress. Jiro is proving to be rather interesting and I like to see how he grows as an actor.

J-anime: Chihayafuru
After all the drama and movie bashing, you are probably wondering what the hell would interest me. Lol! The other anime which I rather like is "Chihayafuru" = ちはやふる. (http://www.ntv.co.jp/chihayafuru/)
It is about a highschool girl's drive and determination to see through her love for the game, and through her encouragement and attitude motivated a childhood friend to rekindle his love for the game again. A thoroughly enjoyable and meaningful anime that have you rooting for the characters. I am assuming there will be a love story happening somewhere later or at least they are hinting about it in the anime series. I have not read the manga so I totally have no idea how it will end. The voice of one of the lead guy Tachi character is actually done by Mamoru Miyano:)
The story is as below (reproduced based on wikipedia).
Chihaya Ayase is a girl who has spent most of her life simply supporting her sister in her model career. That changes when she meets a boy named Arata Wataya, a talented karuta player. He thinks that Chihaya has a potential to become a great player. As Chihaya takes on a new dream of becoming Japan's best karuta player, she is soon separated from her karuta playing friends as they grow up. Now in high school, Chihaya still continues to play karuta in the hope that she will one day meet her friends again.
Kurata is a card game based on japanese poetry, at the same time it is physically challenging as it requires great body coordination and stamina in addition to wits.
J-Movie: High School Debut
Firstly, I think Junpei is quite cute here. The hair or something, he is the cutest ever here in all the drama I have seen him in.
Now that I have got that adoration over Junpei out, I will say the movie sucks. If I thought "Paradise" was sucky, this manga adaption is even worse....
High School Debut (http://www.koigashitai.com/) was one of my favourite manga comic quite a few years back. The characters were cute and adorable, and there was a nice healthy chemistry between the 2 lead for a shoujo manga.
The movie of course was as faithful to the manga plot but somehow it didnt translate very well. Apart from Junpei who is probably the only worthy actor in the show, (not saying that because he is cute here), the rest are like some B or C grade trying to make it actors and actresses who didnt fare very well in this B Grade movie.
The movie in short was badly executed, the girl too "act cute" and "dim witted" and the whole premise about her being clueless in finding a boyfriend is way toooo exaggerated. Ok, i know Shoujo manga is generally never realistic but her stupidity is kinda overboard and her acting too stiff.
This movie fell flat in delivery, entertainment value and honestly, a waste in money in production. Suppose to be comedy but I only find myself groaning in agony and dismay. You dont find me smiling one bit. Only saving grace was Junpei. Nice overhaul in his looks I will give it to them. Maybe its the hair..gotto be the hair.. have I said that already?
My verdict is, watch this only if you are super bored, trying to waste time, or just watching it for Junpei. Watching it to improve your Japanese is also the only other validated reason.

J-anime: 妖狐×僕SS
Apart from Drama, also been watching some Japanese Anime. Apart from remake (yeah!! must watch list), one of the other which is 「妖狐×僕SS」
It's abit slow going as well (what is wrong with all the Japanese production, everyone seemed to be in the slow mode...), but I think the characters are nicely drawn and on the cute side for the girls. You can check out the episode trailers here to see if u like what you see (http://www.inuboku.tv/story/index.html)

Not very complicated story line though...lol, it's about a fox who fell in love with this girl and he become her secret service body guard but hiding the truth about himself as he was ashamed of his past. The girl is quirky because she is always sprouting nasty things against her true intentions and well meaning sensitive nature. Because she is in a special hostel intended for non humans, there are a bunch of other interesting characters as well. However I wont go into it.
