Afterthought

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!

Episode 10 is leaving me super high and excited!!! I cannot believe it!!!!I was holding my breath at the last few mins because it was sooo exciting!!!

I am writing a short summary which I hope I got it correctly because I was watching the RAW with my korean friend and he had to "summarise" for me...I got "hushed" so many times coz i was driving hyunjin mad from asking him "what what what..!!" (So thanks H.J!! This is credit to u) haaa haaa. So if there are "mistakes" in the synposis after u watch the proper sub, my apologies:) watch RAW

Short summary

The story started off with Fake fairy pressing MN if she like TK. In utter fear and helplessness, Minnam cowered in shok and gave in to fake fairy manipulation and threat to keep it a secret (since otherwise it will destroy the band and TK). MN went home and cried to herself. She got sicker (since she cant see a doctor ) and TK discovered the severity and tried to send her to hospital. In fright, MN furiously refused as she said that she is frightened the truth will destroy TK's career.

Touched and exasperated, TK sent MN back, but not before telling her she can cry or feel sick in the car without restraining herself. At home, TK selflessly cared for MN the whole nite thru till she recovered. Fake fairy went to their house, and threatened MN to tell the whole truth to the guys, including the truth MN loves TK. However, when she discovered that both shinwoo and jeremy didnt mind if MN has a huge secret, she panicked and decided it was better that MN didnt tell them in private (since they willaccept MN anyway and ruin fake fairy ploy to get people to hate MN). She pretended she was pregnant to stop MN. Instead, she called MN to reveal the truth in the press confeerence the next day instead.

That night, Mn and Tk was watching the stars. TK said he cannot see anything, not even MN. Just when MN felt sad, TK added however at this close distance, he can see her. He said MN that she must never stand anywhere where he cannot see her, so she must always be in this distance within his "sight" in the dark." MN was tearing and told TK that if she ever become a woman again, he must pretend he never knew her and went off. TK was annoyed and mumbled she is ungrateful.

The next day, MN disappeared. The group was panicking. Observant TK noticed the missing hair clip and got everyone to rush to the press release. to try to save the situation...from there, he finally told the 2 the truth to help him search for MN.

He spotted her but it was too late. MN was dressed as a girl and already inside and it was too dark. In mixture of desperation and anger, he yelled out to MN not to stand somewhere where he cannot see her. The lights came on. MN looked at TK with much pain and sorrow. Poor TK!!! The look on his face when Shinwoo took the opportunity to hug and protect MN as TK stared on as the scene unfold before him.

Shinwoo declared publicly MN as his girl while he stare on directly at T.K. In a way I am glad Shinwoo did that to save the situation but in my head I was going "No no no no no!! No Minnan!!! Wrong arms!!!! No TK, it's not like that!!!! On this note, I didnt like the way Shinwoo seems to challenge TK thru the eye contact. Maybe it wasnt a challenge but it did look like "I have the last victory, and there's nothing u can do now that it's public" kinda look for me.

[sidenote: The media will have a field day should TK and MN get together in the end....imagine the headlines. "Fake fairy dumped. TK snatched his bandmate's woman...." My goodness...but that is only my imagination.]

I love the part where T.K was desperately looking for M.N and inside the dark room, he yelled at her, reminding her that wasnt she not suppose to stand somewhere where he cannot see her in the dark? I love that scene. It was a plea but done in such a manly fashion. haaaa. And when he saw MN walking straight into Shinwoo's arms...omg, that last few mins are the best of the whole epi!

So now the whole group knows the truth after TK told them about MN's gender. I wonder how the whole scene will play out now. How long more will TK realise he is in love with MN?! Then again, if he knew MN's dad is the composer (since he already know the dad's name from the cd cover), how will he react to MN? The child of the person who caused his mum to abandon him?

I love many small scenes here.

- It's so cheery where the 3 of them snuck back some lime and only TK pretended his wasnt for MN, and made that funny sour face. haaa haa

- The part where TK was rushing MN to hospital and telling her that he was already prepared to bear all consequences from the moment he promised to hide her secret was also pretty touching for me. And how he "challenge" Shinwoo that he will take care of MN by himself. As TK character, did he do that because he was being "terriotrial", or did he do it because he felt the need to preserve MN gender seccret? I felt more inclined to think it was the former where TK exhibits an unconscious behaviour that MN was his to protect. Shinwoo must be pissed and helpless.

- The part where TK was shopping for MN clothes was so cute. He didnt even realise that he was picking up something he would like MN to wear until he was finally decided. Only then did it occur to him that it shouldnt matter if that was his "type of girl" dressing since it is only escape clothes for MN.Talk about "emotion retard" here :P

- I laughed at the part where TK had his revenge on fake fairy Uhey, by sending the "i am pregnant" sms to her very strict dad. I am glad he strike back coz i am so sick of fake fairy manipulating and black mailing both TK and MN sooo much. She is such despicable person. Just because she like TK, but did she think doing all these he will like her back? So she just wanted to sabotage MN for spite...such a petty narrow minded woman....I feel sorry for any man to fall for a woman like that in real life.

Next.
The part that is puzzling me is TK's mum.
- MN's aunt said TK's mum and MN's dad may have dated before. (i'm not too sure if I understood my friend corretly...lost in translation?) But most of all, TK's mum went into hiatus during her prime career period. The plot seem to suggest the aunt suspect the singer is MN's mum as TK's mum hiatus was the same period MN the twins was born.

This is when it confused me.

Initially I assume TK was at least a year older than MN, so it made sense that TK mum left the composer and MN dad married someone else. But from this epi, it seemed TK and MN are born in the same year.

TK mum said her fav song was written by MN dad to help her return to the singing industry. So if TK mum was dating MN dad, how on earth she got pregnant with TK with someone else?

What is more puzzling is, how did MN dad got someone else pregnant with the twins at the same time if he was sooo in love with TK mum? Still following my doubts?

So does that mean they already broke up sometime and they were seeing someone else and hence able to have children (seperately) at the same time? In that case, how can TK's mum said it's because of TK that she lost her true love since MN dad was already sleeping with someone else and his wife is pregnant at the same time as TK's mum? So he didnt love TK's mum very much afterall then to jump to next woman so quickly.... Am i confusing you? Pray do share what u think!!

Basically the whole timing isnt logical to me at this moment...maybe this epi (aunt's suspicions) is a red herring to increase the speculation only.... I cannot wait for the truth to be out.

Another long agonising week till next epi.


PS: I saw the pixs below from the official site but not in episode 10. Does that mean next week TK will rise to the "challange" and cover MN with his jacket and whip her away, out of shinwoo's arm? See the "focused" fixated look on TK's face as he glared on at Shinwoo and MN? My imagination is running wild!!! Heee heee. if that happen, it will be spectacular man.

Afterthoughts

Episode 9 is good but it is not earth shatteringly since it is more of a built up premise to episode 10. Oh god, I cannot wait to watch tonight's episode!!! Seems like Minam is going to reveal her true gender from the trailer preview!!!

T.K is funny with his expressions as usual, especially when he has that "expecting" face during those moments with M.N. I esp love MN's expression when she was caught "red handed" by TK with the coffee and after TK snide "compliments" about how she has "improve" leaps and bounds with the sweet talk and flattering and "bribery". P.S.H aka G.M.N looked sooo cute there looking sheepish!!! (so muuuuuuuch better than the annoying puffy cheeks of Jandi when she try to look clueless or wronged in BOF. )

OMG! I cannot believe TK went through all the effort just to stitch that pig nose! He is soo sweet! To think he as upset at MN for not wanting to search for the lost hair clip and finally indirectly learning the truth of MN state of mind from Shinwoo during the trip back. For MN, TK will almost do eveything for her! If I am M.N seeing that "present" first thing I open my eyes, I will be kicking and screamin like a mad person (silently) too!!!

I hope TK mum is not actually MN mum! The trailer seemed to make it so that there is a twist somewhere where she is actually MN mum and stepmum to TK? Is that why she knows next to nothing about TK at all? The mystery waiting to unravel...

The scene where TK "confronted" MN about which color she likes....he looks so sexy there. *Droool* No wonder fake fairy is soo jealous!! Obviously TK is not really upset about "losing" but rather that he is not number 1 in MN's heart... and that is unconsious jealousy too I suppose.

Jeremy's hair look bizzare with that mushroom thinggie when he is at home. Not a good look. I really dont like MN's aunt. She is kinda an eyesore to me and unnecessary. Hope they will cut her out soon or somehow. I had to fastforward all the bits she is in since she hasnt really contributed much except annoying me with her antics in the drama.

Hasnt MN's twin brother call back at all to find out how things are progressing? How will he feel when he return where his sister is "taking" his place and reaping rewards. Can Mn really reveal herself before he comes back? Oh no!

Ok that's all for now. Nothing much to "report" for this episode.
Tonight is seemingly going to be a blast!

Breathless...vs Hwang Tae Kyung chased by pig scene

The "Pig chase" in the [You are Beautiful] scene is enshrined in my head from hence forth.
Esp the line when TK questioned to himself "In a place where fans and reporters dont even chase me, why is A PIG CHASING ME?!???" That is the most classic witty line combined with the hilarious scene

Thus, whenever I hear this song, it will forever remind me of TK screaming and running away..its hilarious! Those who like the song "breathless", I found a link here to download.

Afterthought

Oh no... I cannot believe T.K actually believed the person M.N like is Shinwoo!! No no No!!!!! T.K, you must rem N.M's odd look at the country side while watching the star right?!! She was staring at you!!!
I was right! Jeremy fell for for M.N!
Jeremy is sooooo sweet to take her out for a spin and cheering her up. I felt so sorry for him in the bus. Strange how I didnt feel sorry for Shinwoo but for Jeremy instead. I felt like petting his head now to console him. I wonder how will jeremy take it when the truth of M.N gender is revealed!

It's also good that this ep cleared up as to why Shinwoo was acting the way he did, so secretive. I like the part where he was telling M.N the story of the clumsy girl infiltrating the group and renactment of how shinwoo has been helping N.M secretly... I esp like the part M.N fell asleep and shinwoo act as her cushion support and covered her face. She is sooo cute there. However I still dont understand why did he think letting M.N know that he knows the truth will hurt the band? Did I misread the situation because I thought Shinwoo already guessed T.K knows the truth of M.N identity? So if he is the 2nd person to know, it wont matter does it? However the highlight for me was the fighting scene for Shinwoo. My god, he looked so suave coming off the bike. That hair style ABSOLUTELY suit him. That is one of the best look on him to date.

The whole love thingie is getting juicier! M.N likes T.K, Shinwoo and Jeremy likes M.N, best of all T.K hasnt realised he is slowly falling for M.N. He gets jealous without even realising! haaa
The expression where he had to save her each time is priceless!

I found it so funny the way T.K call "Go Mi Nam" each time like he was addressing some pet. And he even nickname her pig face rabbit. Sooo funny.

The part where T.K "forced" M.N to confess the truth to Shinwoo in the room, to the part where he stood at the stairs wondering where she went, did anyone notice how his hairstyle changes from the straight hair to a bit of wave? LoL.

Everything T.K did pertaining to M.N is hilarious, from hunting her down, to making fun of her as the future wife with her bro's best friend, and to the part where he knock her down and threw leaves at her. Did he realise that he only laugh when he is with M.N? No one else has done that to him I think.

I didnt like M.N's aunt but I cannot believe TK's mum is the worst and such a biatch!!!
She even forgot T.K's birthday and to say such cruel things to him on that day makes it unforgiveable! How can any mother tell a child he is unwanted because she is in love with someone else (M.N's dad)? OMG, I hope T.K wont hate M.N for it (because of her dad that he was abandoned by the mum...)

Now that M.N knows his deep dark secret...what will happen next? When M.N did the pig nose at T.K at the MV scene, will the manager know the truth then about who she actually likes?!
A long week of agony of waiting for next ep!!! *Weeeping*

Man! This drama just keep getting better and better!!

You are Beautiful ep07 Review: About T.K Kiss scene....

OMG!! I am sooo freaking happy!

I couldnt wait for the sub and watched the first few mins of korean raw version for "YAB" ep 07. Had to pester my korean friend to explain the scene to me...NOW I know why he had to close his eyes and put his hands on her head.

Spoiler (Dont read on if you dont want to know before the sub is out)

He didnt kiss her!!! It was all his plot to mislead the media! The fake fairy is hopping mad! haaaahaaaa!! I was grinning sooooo hard! Way to go Tae Kyung! I am sooo glad he didnt have to "Sell" himself to help out Mi nam, well, not physically at least only his reputation.

In the room, T.K coolly sat opposite fake fairy while she went raving mad. She demanded what was all that publicity stunt about and T.K replied that he was merely going along with her "request" about fake relationship. T.K then asked her that she wasnt really thinking he was actually going to kiss her did she? Fake fairy paused for a second (since she prob did want him too! haaa) As the bickering went on, the fake fairy told T.K that he should behave himself and also not to tell anyone else the truth for now since he is now her "bf", otherwise, she may expose Minam due to her "heartbreak". T.K smirked and told Fake fairy she really need to impart her "fraud" skills to him. Fake fairy then demanded T.K to send her home since she is "shock" by his public move (kiss). T.K chuckled said he will certainly go home (by himself) and since she is such a "KIND" person, she will understand. With that T.K walked off. Fake fairy wanted to have another last scream at him but ended up having her foor trapped inside the empty tissue box. As she cools down, she muttered to herself that she didnt want a fake relationship, she was being serious...

Ok. that was all i have for now. However the whole episode is really really excellent!!!
It is simply hilarious! T.K is really awesome here. So coool! I love his expression andthe twitch of his eyebrows when he thinks Fake fairy was being childish. Funny!) Even at the mountain when he thought there was scary rabbit was sooo cute. I like how Minam twitched her nose like a rabbit when T.K said he is afriad of rabbits. She is sooo adorable!!

When she started to cry as she "confessed" her liking using stars as a shield and T.K turned around, I didnt know if he did see her tears...did he suspect? And at the ending, did he really know if M.N was crying for him and not shin woo? Oh god, this is getting sooo juicy!!!!! Please please please dont let Shinwoo mislead T.K about the situation.... and is Jermey falling for M.N too?!! OMG this is soo exicting!! I can hardly breathe!!!

And the pig scene...hell who can forget that! haaaa

Tokyo Dogs Ep2 Summary
The episode starts with recap from last episode where the kidnapper rather shot himself to death.

The new scene opens with So (Shun Oguri) and Maruo (M. Hiro) staking out and "bickering" at a roof top. Maruo was about to head off with the "compulsory search" at the opposite hotel room, but So complained Maruo is so disorganised without any proper planning. So questioned if they should just barged into the room, what should they do if the people in the hotel room possess firearms? So went on with his argument that the girls will be trapped as hostages and a possible shootout may occur with an (unseasoned) bad guy... Maruo couldnt take it anymore. He grumbled outloud that So should stop with his unceasing preaching as they are "killing" him. Maruo further explained that the "dating" scene differs from the "prostitution" scene in states. So retorted Maruo is so naive and the only reason they are here to investigate was due to sources linking the hotel with the secret organisation, so anything could happen.

Maruo then questioned what has So prepared, in which So whipped out a "can bomb" for the door entrance destroy any burglar alarm! Maruo was horrified at the mention of "bomb". "Are you an idiot?! This is Tokyo here!" and he tried to returned the can back to So. So explained the can is to assure the safety of the girls in the room and take control while everyone is caught by surprise. So started to head off but Maruo ended up dragging him to stop him, declaring he (M) cannot do it. So told Maruo that his indecisiveness and lack of action proves Maruo is not suited
to be a cop.

"Just like earlier when choosing a bento, you had to take sooooo long!" So stated flatly.
"Hey the sweet and sour pork may be good but the gyozai bento also looked good! It is perfectly normal for one to be undecided in such moment!" Maruo quickly retorted back.
"Yeah but you kept on endlessly whining 'It's awlful! It's awlful!' about the gyozai! Hadnt the store auntie recommended the sweet and sour pork right from the start?! The SIGNATURE DISH is the sweet and sour pork afterall!!!" So instantly fired back at Maruo.
"But my stomach exists for gyozai!!" Maruo pleaded in defence.
"There is no such thing as a stomach existing only for gyozai. If u had wished to eat the gyozai sooo much, you could have just ordered a SINGLE SEPARATE ITEM in the set!" So told Maruo off and walked off.

"SOOO.. was the sweet and sour pork good then?" Maruo asked in defeat.
So turned around and after a paused replied flatly "It's only average"
"Ahhhh if its only average, then stop yakking on as if its so damn great!" Maruo yelled in frustration. So in panic hushed Maruo not to be sooo loud. Maruo gave another yell instead!
[side note: sooo funny! this scene had me laughing so hard!]

As they approach the room, So tell Maruo to be quiet and muttered "so annoying/ noisy". Just when So was going to use the can bomb, Maruo stopped him and whispered "Just use this will do" refering to a key. "you are such an idiot" Maruo said as he shoved So to one side while opening the door. It ended the room had some weapons and So told maruo to take the girls away into custody, but Maruo was already "floating in air" after the girls complimented he is soo cool.

Next scene, Yuki and the guys were packing apartment.
"Say, are we going to move each time when the hideout is exposed?" Yuki asked. "Yeah I suppose so." Maruo replied. Yuki complained its such a hassle but Maruo replied isnt it good (a luxury) to move to different apartments? So entered the scene and rigidly interrupted "This is for your safety" and walked off with a box. Maruo's ex partner said seeing familiar things will aid her memory recovery but Yuki said its all maruo's stuff. Then, Yuki was shock to learn that she will be staying with the guys! So replied yup as it is for foolproof safety.

"how can it be safe?! There is nothing safe about living in the same apartment with 2 men!!" yuki protested.
"Huh? Dangerous?" So was puzzled.
At that point, Yuki turned to see Hiro in a pose stance and turned to stick out his tongue, before wagging it quickly. Yuki screamed as she was horrified! Hiro laughed and assured her he was just kidding around. The other girl said it didnt look like a teasing expression at all. At that, maruo continued with a new scenario in the bathroom. "Imagine the bathroom door opens, and yuki was in the middle of the shower, and while I want to peek, yuki will scream 'ahhhhhh, dont look!!!' and I will want to peek but yuki will spray the shower at me." Yuki laughed at the joke and utter a name. At which So rushed out and said "Doraemon! You remembered?" Yuki said she knew. So started questioning her all the characters and common lines (while maruo was poking fun at his excessive serious expression at the side) but she couldnt rem the last. So was disappointed as he revealed the answer. Maruo commented "Who on earth will know..."

Back in office. Their boss informed them of a new case.
A lawyer was fired with 3 shots at his home entrance but a failed attempt on his life. So commented that it is common for lawyers to invite grudges and hence a death attempt. The female colleague agreed and said this lawyer indeed has been "enemies" due to wrongful cases. One of the male colleagues expressed his unhappiness for the divorced lawyer to leave his young son late at nite alone at home, saying its unforgivable. the boss interrupted and said investigation should commence before the lawyer gets murdered and become too late.

At the lawyer's place, maruo was trying to sweettalk and placate the little boy to a safehouse, but So was hurrying him on without care. Maruo pulled So to one side, telling him "Dont you understand, I am trying to make the boy feel good." So reprimand him instead saying his style will hinder the safety of the transfer. maruo retorted that was just a boy! So turned to the boy and told him to listen up. "You may be a child but also a family member. Your father was being shot at, and its reasonable that u will be targeted at. So u should evaluate your current situation and make a decision.." Maruo tried to interrupt his speech being too adult but So brushed Maruo off and said firmly to the shocked boy "Do u want to die by staying here to play game?" The older cop came over to defuse the tension and tried to cheer the boy up, much to the annoyance of So. Before departing, So said he had to go somewhere else and wont join them. the old cop advised it is better So shouldnt go anywhere dangerous alone. So replied he will be fine.
So ended up in a bar to "return the photos and the badge" and won a fight. After he left, the bad guys commented he is strong.

Maruo brought the little boy back home to the safehouse. Yuki promised to care for him
On way home from office, Maruo was complaining about the lawyer being a bad father, he might as well be shot to death. So stopped in his track and seriously told Maruo never to repeat that sentence. maruo said he was only joking and split off for dating meeting, leaving So to care for the boy.
At home, So noticed the bruise marks on the boy and asked if he was being bullied..and thus hate going to school The little boy asked if he could stay there but So said impossible. The boy said he can change school and if he can change his name. So asked why does he need to change his name and if he detest his father. The boy replied "If papa is not papa, I will not be treated as the child of a bad lawyer." "You cannot run. No matter, papa will always be your papa. Always will be." As So walked away, the boy wondered aloud what should he do then. So replied "Fight them. Fight to win." With that, So went into combat instruction mode and got so engrossed that he forgot he was coaching the little boy. As he simulate the bashing the pot, the boy looked at him in schock..(so farnee how So goes overboard!) With that, he changed his approach...

back in laywer office, Maruo started hitting on the secretary (Mauo flirting is hilarious!) So noticed something is amissed and discovered the lawyer made a secret escape. So spotted the assassin and foil the attempt. Halfway chasing the assasin, So received another call from his mum asking what fish should she buy! So suggested Nemo! (I cannot believe he can still entertain his mum! haaa)

The assassin grabbed a pedestrian as hostage. So complained about Maruo being lousy and preaching at him if he has never learn from his past assignments. Maruo said rather than learning, he based it on his his instinct/intuition. So retorted "So you lost your instincts just Like the case of the bento?!!!" "Alright I get it!!! Next time I will buy the sweet and sour pork and the gyozai separately yah!!!!SO WHICH ONE IS BETTER?!" Maruo retorted back. The assassin was thrown off guard by the bickering and yelled at them to shut up, and hand over the gun. As he stepped backwards, he tripped. Both cops made a jump kick at the bad guy, each yelling out the bento to buy next time! As So was hitting the bad guy, he voiced out "Idiot! A shop that make such bad gyozai cannot have chinese food!" Maruo informed that the old grandpa was originally a chinese restaurant owner...So was stunned and another bad guy appeared. Both got away...

At safehome, Yuki found out the little boy had won the gold award for his art work which will be showcase in the school's Bunka (cultural)festival the next day.

back at his mum's place, So ended up fixing the fish tank. The sister and mum gleefully informed him that it will be his responsibility to come change the water since they had stench. So muttered "hence I am the expert in fixing bad smell huh..." Just then, the sister's bf appeared and said "I'm back home!" So perked up at that greeting and muttered to himself "Did that guy just said he's back home???!!!" As he continue to observe the 2, he said to himself "They are not even married!" With that, So yelled "Wei!!" startling them...(I nearly died from laughing. So is sooo adoringly traditional! haaa)

So went back to safehome and Maruo happily leaked that Yuki will be getting a parttime job. Yuki tried convincing So and grabbed his back as she continue to plea with him. Instinctively, So threw Yuki onto the ground!!! Yuki started to "cry" saying she is only a girl!! maruo grabbed her hands wanting to comfort her but Yuki instantly stopped her whining and warned Maruo not to take advantage of her (molest her hands)

Another attempt was made on the lawyer's life. So revealed the suspected mastermind is the lawyer longterm client but the lawyer disbelieved it. Maruo received a call saying the boy has gone missing. So said he could be in danger since the bad guys will now changed target after several failed attempt at the father. With that, they all rushed to the school to save the boy!

After the ordeal, both father and son was saved. The lawyer decided to put his work aside for a while and take his son travellin. As father and son was boarding the ambulance, the boy ran back to So and told him that he will not run away anymore. "Papa will always be papa. And I will also protect papa." When they left, Yuki then revealed she had a flashback that she had a gun pointed at her. That was the only thing she remembered.

At the rooftop, So's boss asked if So was a little envious of the little boy and father. So replied yes. "if possible, i can always give u a hug" His boss joked with So and So politely declined.

Yuki started her parttime job as a waitress. So and Maruo passed off as her brothers.
However, unknown to them Yuki's new colleague Yoshimu is also part of the secret society! While maruo was more concerned that Yuki might end up dating her new colleague but So seemed more concerned about something else as he stared at the new stranger.

Afterthoughts

My goodness, this episode is also pretty hilarious. I love the chemistry between So and Maruo! Esp the part where they are constantly bickering about non essential things!! Sorry if the humor is lost in my translation. if u dont find it amusing, its prob more of my fault because It's really funny if u understand japanese, you will burst out laughing instantly as you see their reactions and expression during their banter.

I like Yuki. Apart from being pretty, she is very very cute. The last time I saw her was in the Love change drama but her character there was darker. Here She is bright and cheery and very likeable!
