Sorry have been quiet for so long. Havnt been watching much drama except for the crappy korean "My Princess" or something like that..Booooring...
I had a better time watching the Taiwanese drama "Love Buffet". Aaron is looking quite good there with the Jappy haircut and overall look! the story isnt too bad too though a litle speed wont kill :)
Celebrated my birthday yesterday! Nothing much exciting happened really....another year older!
Super Junior-M has released their track "Too Perfect" in dual languages! Big bang too! Korean groups are taking the world by storm!!!

A brand new year
My dear fav readers,
Sorry I have taken such a long hiatus...:) This is a long overdue message but I still wanna wish everyone a Happy New Year and may the brand new year brings us more entertaining and memorable drama series! Lol!
In case anyone has been remotely curious what happened.. well nothing much really except a lot of personal stuff going on and I just run out of bandwidth. Just been travelling alot the last few months, really alot and I feel exhausted.
During Xmas till New Year festive hols, I went to India with my better half (- v-). It was a good but super tiring trip, esp when I had a super bad strained neck that limited my neck movement to about 45degrees. It didnt help that India's roads are full of potholes and it was hours and hours of bumpy rides one after another. We hit New Dehli, hired a car and went to Rajasthan, to Jaipur, to Argra etc... And mid way thru, I feel sick and had the worst vomitting session ever. I never expected to see my fish dinner meal to be so well preserved after 6 hours in the tummy. Solid chunks....sigh.
The Rajasthan deserty countryside was beautiful with lots of mustard seed field that just have that beautiful yellow cheering up your spirits. The sleepy rural towns had lots of bright eye children who loved waving "Ta-Ta" at us as we drove by. The braver ones will run after us and board on the spare seats at the back of our jeep and hitch a short ride. It was fun. The simplicity of life, the simplicity of hearts.
I had a certain set of idea about India before I went, and after arriving, it wasnt near to what I imagined. To be frank, while I enjoyed my trip, it didnt feel as exotic or "different" as everyone made it out to be. Maybe I was told too much stories about the sights and scenery that upon arrival, it didnt feel that vastly different from another non-cosmopolitan Asian city. Sure, the roads had its funny set of non existent road rules, and they had tons of stores by the road sides which makes one wonder about the hygience with all the road dust and exhaust spilling fumes all over it...still, its not an uncommon sight in a non-affluent city. India, minus the language, was just another city to me. I wasnt in awe, in shock or even surprised. I was surprised at how easily I accepted everything before me as natural. I had Malaysia cousins and I used to visit them alot when I was very very young until my very young aunt passed away in an unfortunate accident. So The India before me didnt seem any different from the Malaysia that I rem in the early 80s except Msia was cleaner and had more Chinese. So to me, it was more nostalgic and heart warming than anything else.
I finally saw Taj Maha. It was a misty day. In fact it even rained with lightning and that was very strange for India;s winter which was to be dry. It was misty for many days. truthfully, while it was nice, again, I didnt find it spectacular. I dunno what I was looking for, but I didnt feel OMG as I stare a it. A lot of tourists were there and out of the flock of thousands, I couldnt locate a decent person to know how to take a proper picture for us. How sad is that?
Even after being back for so long, I havent download the pictures. I didnt feel any motivation to. How lazy.
And of course, I finally fixed up my computer and not from Dell. And I officially boycott Dell from henceforth. They charged about US$150 to inspect and quoted a ridiculous amount to replace my video card. A card that is outdated, they wanted to charge even more than the latest graphics card model? I couldnt locate anyone to send back my PC until 2 weeks later. Email to the contact always bounce or they are away on holiday with no backup. Even after getting my PC, the Dell service staff did not have the professionalism to assemble my PC back in the same proper state. They simply dumped the racks and loose screw inside the PC and that's it! I was appalled!
In the end, I went to a local computer shop, who fixed up my PC with the latest graphics card, changed my power supply as they told me my original Dell configuration was under powered thus damaging my original graphics card which should have lasted at least 4 years instead of 1yr. Including OS reinstallation and patches update and Antivirus and delivery, I paid 1/3 of the Dell's quote. Dell is such a bloody fraud and became such an unethical company. Profit over service. I hope it will fold soon. They do not deserve to carry on doing business with any consumer with that sort of money only mindset.
So my new PC has been reborn, and happy. From this, I too realised how hardworking HK people are just to make a decent living. The technician who fixed and delivered my PC even stuck around for 2 hours to reconfigure all my settings, loading software, ensuring the new graphics card was in order - without additional charge. Seriously, I cannot imagine getting such service anywhere else. It almost made me feel guilty for having a comfortable life...
Alot of things to think about this new year.
I hope it will be a good year ahead for me, as well as everyone who has befriended me through this blog, readers included. I sincerely thank your invisible friendship and support and hopefully I will work harder on this blog and stop being so lazy:)

T-Drama: Zhong Wu Yan overall Review
Oh I finished Zhong Wu Yan. Draggy unexciting show that drifted off to a slow death. Wasted my time following this. It started out good and strong, lost its way, got draggy and then curtain down in a most unfashionable manner.
After Xuan's father died, the plot went downhill. With Xuan being booted out and betrayed by David's mum who pushed him to a deep dark corner, the show just got more depressing... depressing for me to see a good casts being robbed of their due credit for a lousy script.
In the end, Ying Chu tried to pull a stunt and fake they slept together. So much loop holes. She claimed that Xuan drove her to the hotel but he was so pissed drunk and he was photo to be on the passenger seat. Harlow?!!! How can anyone be that pissed drunk and not rem having bed anyone unless u are drugged? Impossible!!!! Not that I have been that pissed drunk and gone to bed with anyone but amnesia + sex is not an idea i can believe unless someone drugged u. So for Xuan to believe Ying Chun so readily is beyond my belief and he doesnt even try very hard to explain things to Wuyan...
What drags it out more was Howard and his battle with his cancer tumor again. I mean AGAIN??? For what?!!! Sigh...and he regain his vision again... this is not soap drama.
In the end, just as readily she believed Xuan slept with Ying Chun, Wu yan readily accepted Xuan back in a flash after Ying Chun told her the truth that she is giving up on Xuan. And After doing so much to the extent of faking a pregnant diagnosis, she suddenly come to her senses in a flash after howard's few words of taunting. As if what he said wasnt common sense enough for her to realise it on her on. Sigh.....
And the last part where they secretlt try to marry Wuyan off with Xuan, with a couple wedding. I rolled my eyes. Is this suppose to be suspense? The min she was wearing that wedding gown, it was soo apparent where the show is taking us to....how can a smart person like Wuyan suddenly acting like a bimbo so dumb to believe her sister's words? Oh well...its Taiwan drama so i guess my expectation can be lowered without getting too upset.
Happy ending does not equate to Happy viewers all the time, This time round I am rather disappointed.

A quick one on Merry Stayed out all night.
I was so dead tired after my Jap paper that I crashed in and dead to the world today. When I woke, I was totally concussed and blur. So this silly piglet ended up washing her face with the wrong soap! Instead of my facial cleanser, I ended up using my Muji handsoap! Because I am using Neostrata, so the color and texture is the same, and i was still thinking, hmmm..how come my facial cleanser smells so nice today...and if it wasnt bad enuff, I accidentally used my tube of facial cream makeup remover as my toothpaste!!! How ridiculous is that!!! So I had a foamy mouth and a dry cracked up face! I had to dash and bring out my heavy duty moisturer to compensate for all the oil stripped away from my face! Muji hand soap works too well.....sob sob...
Now that I have whined enough.....Back to drama!
Oh I managed to catch a few episodes of Merry stayed out all night...and while I like JGS in Hyun nim there, I do not like his hairstyling and image in here...esp ep 1...he looks like a complete sleazeball!
It could be me but I dont like Moon GY in here. She doesnt suit this role and I think she tries too hard to be cute which is not coming through like Park did with Go Minam character. She is missing the cutesness X factor for me and at some point, I feel like the director was trying to recreate the "sauve'' hyung-nim and the naive innocent girl that follows him around like a puppy. (similar to how Go Minman with Hyun nim) Moon was way better in Cinderella sister's character. Maybe it is the stupid awful blown up hair that turned me off too. Most of all, Sorry, but its too soon to try to do another reprisal like YAB.
However that said, JGS did his role as a talented but non-famous band-singer perfectly. He was literally like a fish in water, giving the rock star coolness pretty well except a few scene where I felt his teasing laughter of Merry borders on a little fake...
Not sure if I am tired while watching it but the show doesnt draw me in. It's abit slow, and draggy and frankly I do not sense the chemistry between the 2 leads. They have too independent feel and I find the actress was äcting cute and sweet than feel she is that way. To me, that's a big failure if the drama cannot convince me even the personality of the character as [real]
And then there is Kim Jae Wook. I really really adore him in Coffee prince as the gay dude, but in here, minus the pony tail and the half zombie-dead like, dead panned character without much smiles, again I couldnt really feel for him here. It was almost like it was a different actor in here.
After watching so much drama, I realise the success of a drama isnt solely how credible or talented or good your cast is, it is the producer and casting and direction of the drama that plays a huge part! In here, I think the 3 main casts are credible actors in their own right but the drama just seem to fall flat. (another case to prove, it isnt KHJ oppa fault for the dismal rating for Mischievous kiss! )
I just think they chose poorly for the Merry character here and the character development for both the male leads are too slow-burning, unable to reel us in. Plus alot of the scenes are so cliche or predictable that it no longer held any surprises nor excitement. And what is this "Merry "Xmas" taunting which is sooo childish and inane. 24yr old people / man dont act like that....do they?!
Sorry JGS dong-saeng, but this season, noona's whole heart and soul is committed to Hyun Bin oppa....he is just too delectable and adorable and loveable. (I better stop before I droool) Plus Han Ji won really rock here too in Secret garden.
Well, I still have 3 more ep to catch up to the current for Merry show just as a support for JGS. Hopefully it gets better!!

Still Swooning over Hyun Bin, will it never end?!
My eyes feel like shutting from lack of sleep during my test
I was suffering from major insomnia last nite...and of coz my Jap test bombed in my face today....sigh...
The only consolation was that I wasnt the only one who thought the paper was hard...so that kinda cheer me up a little when I think about the "bell curve"theory....
After the paper, all my classmates and I could talk about NON STOP was Secret Garden and how Gooooooooooorgeous Hyun Bin is and How Adoooooooooooorable he is in here.
We were literally screaming and squealing like pigs in the restaurant everytime we mention funny scenes from the show! I suppose its a major ego dent and crusher to the table of guys sitting next to us since we barely even noticed their existence while they kept looking over according to another fren. The guys must be scorning at our bahvior but do we care? Nooooo!!
I guess after like 4 hours of idolising and going on and on about Hyun Bin - and dissecting Joo Woo every word and actions, it wasnt possible not to feel better. My gf even said she had the impulse to go back and rewatch some episodes which she missed some part of the dialogue.

K-drama: Secret Garden Episode 6 Summary and Review
Ok...they have officially kissed! However, it isnt the romantic full of passion kiss. It's a little awkward trying to figure out how to write the summary with JW's thots in Ra Im's body so I decided to describe them as the "New Ra Im and New Joo Woo" respectively. - refering to their new swopped bodies.
Korean drama: Secret Garden Recap Ep 6
The chapter begins with both JW and RI in shock over their new bodies! Not knowing what to do, the new JW ( aka RI) sneaked out of the house while the new RI dashed (aka JW) out of the sauna house without paying. When they finally caught up with each other. The real JW in RI body, demanded to know what RI had done to result in this and RI grumbled if he must blame her for everything that goes wrong! Realising it will be bad if others see them behaving like this, the real JW suggested that they headed to the park where it was more secluded to try to sort things out. However, they bumped into the director and the new JW was stunned at the smarty mouth behavior of the new RI towards the directer.
The new JW (RI) kept apologising to the director and scolded the new RI (JW) for talking the way she did to the director. The director quite frankly not quite sure of what was happening grabbed RI's hand and told her to leave with him. Panicking, the new JW grabbed the their hand and stopped them from leaving. The new JW (RI) pleaded with the director, but the director insisted. The new RI (JW)also panicked and asked out loud if the new JW is going to let her go, and let her leave with another man like that! the director and YS looked on in surprise? The new JW (RI) had no choice but to yell LET HER GO! The new JW (RI) said that he had already said RI is in his care as a prize winner and the director retorted that RI is his family. The new JW (RI) said he knew and always been grateful, but still he wants RI to leave with him and he will assure that RI will appear on the shooting set. The director looked at the bickering pair departing in puzzlement.
Alone, the real RI in JW body suggested to go to the hospital to see the doctor about it. The real JW snorted and asked if anyone will believe them? The real RI suggested a series of options like goin to the temple etc and the real JW in RI body rolled his eyes and asked what is her IQ level? Finally, the real RI suggested a kiss since that is always what happen in storybooks and maybe a kiss will help revert the bodies.
The new JW (RI) leaned forward tentatively and gave the new RI (JW) a quick kiss. JW (in RI's body) exclaimed what a lame kiss that was and grabbed JW's head and gave him a deep long kiss.
Both of them was kinda absorbed in the kiss only for the real JW to quickly tear herself away. Realising the kiss didnt revert the body exchange, JW was exasperated. The real JW questioned RI's motive is this is such an excuse for her to grab a chance to kiss him.
At the same time, the strange lady from Secret Garden reverted into a man!!! He looked at JW and RI's image appearing from a jug of water, and muttered that he was sorry to do this to them but everything he did is for his daughter!
Meanwhile, still bickering, JW and RI ran into Oska who is with a bunch of TV station people. Oska happy to see RI leaned over to hug her, only to be shocked by the rough treatment by RI. At the same time, the new JW kept apologising to Oska, who turned to ask if JW is unwell due to his very strange behavior!
Oska was off to shoot the new MV while RI and JW tried to figure out what to do. The real RI forbid JW to look at her body and demanded that the new RI (JW) has to change her clothes with her eyes shut. The new RI (JW) was struggling to wear the bra, and in typical egocentric JW style, the new RI got fed up and threw the bra away, complaining its difficult and he wont wear it! The new JW(RI) glared and demonstrated how to wear a bra, while making a snide remark that JW should be familiar with bra since he must have taken alot off! The real JW retorted that taking bras off are so easy in comparison putting them on! The real JW then sat the (new) JW down to help him shave but the (new) JW said she is fine since she has to shave herself, The real JW exclaimed really and asked where but the real RI ignored him.
At the MV shooting scene, JW and RI appeared together. The new JW kept apologising for the new RI's rude behavior to the director. The director asked why should JW be apologising (or better put,), butting into their (action school) business. The new RI told the director they have to talk privately, and left the team. Worried, the new JW grabbed the hair wig from one of the guys and followed the new RI and director.
Alone, the director said he too wanted to give RI a chance since she seem really keen to try out in the MV but her behavior has been disappointing and she blew her own chance away. So since she is only here to watch as a bystander, that will be all she gets. However, the new RI smiled secretly to herself before turning around and point blank asked the director "I have discovered it. You like me dont you?" pointing to herself. The director was stunned by this open frankness and before he can react further, he spotted JW at the background acting suspiciously. The new JW tried to eavesdrop but couldnt hear a thing, so he can only bow to the director apologetically as the director stormed off (in embarrassment?)...thw new JW demanded to know what the new RI had said that made the director's face look so weird? The new RI said she is tired and let head back to the hotel room.
At the shooting set, the new JW was giving out coffee and Oska appeared. When Oska find JW talking funnily and acting strange, he reach out to grab JW's face to see if he is having fever. However, the new JW shyly look away and lifted his legs, much to the puzzlement of Oska and the observant director who spotted the move.
Meanwhile, Oska did proceed with the MV shoot despite his reluctance to work with his ex gf Yoon Seul. However, YS demanded countless NG repeat of the shot and outright asked Oska if he had never felt that sort of helpless emotion of a man losing the woman he loved? Oska refused to submit to her questioning openly said nope, he has never felt that way. YS was taken back by that brutal answer and told Oska then she will explain to him how it felt to be jilted and ditch by someone you love. She went on to describe the torment and pain, where one cannot eat nor sleep, where even sleeping is hell. YS said she doesnt question that RI is suppose to be dating Oska and yet is having a meal with JW before walking off. (and so JW shouldnt ask so much ) The new JW muttered to herself that these rich people sure think differently.
In the room, the new RI (JW) asked the new JW where on earth he had gone. New JW asked if the real JW had gone on a arranged marriage meeting with YS? Caught off guard, the real JW retorted so what? And that YS likes him and no woman do not like him. The real Ra Im said YS doesnt like him and she can tell being a woman. However the real JW said its the director that likes RI. The real RI told JW that the director is nice to everyone as he treat them like family. The new JW started to leave and said Oska is waiting. The new RI (JW) was pissed, cursing at Oska and as to what about the shopping mall activities! Pissed at his cousin irresponsible behavior, the new RI (JW) said she is heading for shower. Hearing that, the real RI was stunned and asked where is the new RI heading!! The new RI (JW) turned ard and scorned at the real Ra Im and asked her "What is there to see, esp how can this be a woman body when everywhere is full of bruises?!" The new RI (JW) lifted up the T-shirt to prove his point.
The new JW (RI) screamed if JW is crazy and dashed forth as struggled to keep the shirt down. As both of them tussled together and with JW wrapping himself round Ra Im, YS walked in and was flabberghasted to see the 2 entangled together in a compromising position!!! Both JW and RI looked up in shock as well!

Rewarded myself with this episode after few hours of study. I love how Hyun Bin tried to act like a little helpless boy and a little sissy. He is just so full of himself that even in a new body..really! His self arrogance takes the cake! It's so funny seeing him squirming when he wanted to pee.! and the way he find wearing a bra a chore and just want to walk ard without it! Not to mention him saying "taking it off is easy but must is it so difficult to put the bra on!"haaa.
More mysteries are thrown in...wondered what happened to JW when he was younger to cause that character change...and who is that mysterious guy who can concoct such potion? Ra Im's dad??? Why does the dude have such magical power ? Suspense suspense... I adooooore secrets like this!
Now that JW and RI destinies are irrevocably intertwined....I really look forward to the next scenes. How will the director react to RI since he thinks that RI has seen thru his feelings? how will they go back to their daily lives ?
Ahhhhh..its another week long wait...how will I pull thru?!!! Anyone else on board ep 6 yet?

The chapter begins with both JW and RI in shock over their new bodies! Not knowing what to do, the new JW ( aka RI) sneaked out of the house while the new RI dashed (aka JW) out of the sauna house without paying. When they finally caught up with each other. The real JW in RI body, demanded to know what RI had done to result in this and RI grumbled if he must blame her for everything that goes wrong! Realising it will be bad if others see them behaving like this, the real JW suggested that they headed to the park where it was more secluded to try to sort things out. However, they bumped into the director and the new JW was stunned at the smarty mouth behavior of the new RI towards the directer.
The new JW (RI) kept apologising to the director and scolded the new RI (JW) for talking the way she did to the director. The director quite frankly not quite sure of what was happening grabbed RI's hand and told her to leave with him. Panicking, the new JW grabbed the their hand and stopped them from leaving. The new JW (RI) pleaded with the director, but the director insisted. The new RI (JW)also panicked and asked out loud if the new JW is going to let her go, and let her leave with another man like that! the director and YS looked on in surprise? The new JW (RI) had no choice but to yell LET HER GO! The new JW (RI) said that he had already said RI is in his care as a prize winner and the director retorted that RI is his family. The new JW (RI) said he knew and always been grateful, but still he wants RI to leave with him and he will assure that RI will appear on the shooting set. The director looked at the bickering pair departing in puzzlement.
Alone, the real RI in JW body suggested to go to the hospital to see the doctor about it. The real JW snorted and asked if anyone will believe them? The real RI suggested a series of options like goin to the temple etc and the real JW in RI body rolled his eyes and asked what is her IQ level? Finally, the real RI suggested a kiss since that is always what happen in storybooks and maybe a kiss will help revert the bodies.
At the same time, the strange lady from Secret Garden reverted into a man!!! He looked at JW and RI's image appearing from a jug of water, and muttered that he was sorry to do this to them but everything he did is for his daughter!
Meanwhile, still bickering, JW and RI ran into Oska who is with a bunch of TV station people. Oska happy to see RI leaned over to hug her, only to be shocked by the rough treatment by RI. At the same time, the new JW kept apologising to Oska, who turned to ask if JW is unwell due to his very strange behavior!
Oska was off to shoot the new MV while RI and JW tried to figure out what to do. The real RI forbid JW to look at her body and demanded that the new RI (JW) has to change her clothes with her eyes shut. The new RI (JW) was struggling to wear the bra, and in typical egocentric JW style, the new RI got fed up and threw the bra away, complaining its difficult and he wont wear it! The new JW(RI) glared and demonstrated how to wear a bra, while making a snide remark that JW should be familiar with bra since he must have taken alot off! The real JW retorted that taking bras off are so easy in comparison putting them on! The real JW then sat the (new) JW down to help him shave but the (new) JW said she is fine since she has to shave herself, The real JW exclaimed really and asked where but the real RI ignored him.
At the MV shooting scene, JW and RI appeared together. The new JW kept apologising for the new RI's rude behavior to the director. The director asked why should JW be apologising (or better put,), butting into their (action school) business. The new RI told the director they have to talk privately, and left the team. Worried, the new JW grabbed the hair wig from one of the guys and followed the new RI and director.
Alone, the director said he too wanted to give RI a chance since she seem really keen to try out in the MV but her behavior has been disappointing and she blew her own chance away. So since she is only here to watch as a bystander, that will be all she gets. However, the new RI smiled secretly to herself before turning around and point blank asked the director "I have discovered it. You like me dont you?" pointing to herself. The director was stunned by this open frankness and before he can react further, he spotted JW at the background acting suspiciously. The new JW tried to eavesdrop but couldnt hear a thing, so he can only bow to the director apologetically as the director stormed off (in embarrassment?)...thw new JW demanded to know what the new RI had said that made the director's face look so weird? The new RI said she is tired and let head back to the hotel room.
At the shooting set, the new JW was giving out coffee and Oska appeared. When Oska find JW talking funnily and acting strange, he reach out to grab JW's face to see if he is having fever. However, the new JW shyly look away and lifted his legs, much to the puzzlement of Oska and the observant director who spotted the move.
Meanwhile, Oska did proceed with the MV shoot despite his reluctance to work with his ex gf Yoon Seul. However, YS demanded countless NG repeat of the shot and outright asked Oska if he had never felt that sort of helpless emotion of a man losing the woman he loved? Oska refused to submit to her questioning openly said nope, he has never felt that way. YS was taken back by that brutal answer and told Oska then she will explain to him how it felt to be jilted and ditch by someone you love. She went on to describe the torment and pain, where one cannot eat nor sleep, where even sleeping is hell.
