Triangle Episode 2 Summary

Triangle. It's good. Not as Riveting as I hope but still gripping, not to mention the strong cast is a good reason to think the show wont be too bad. For those interested and cannot wait for the English sub, a brief summary of episode 2 as below.

Triangle 2 summary
The episode went on to further explain the "real" identity of the girl Sachi who is "back from the death". Apparently the real Sachie did die, and the one who attended the elementary class reunion is an adopted child. The deceased mother was so overwhelmed by the death of her daughter that she adopted a girl of similar age and name, to replace her daughter. However the father did not accept the situation and he left.

Goda revealed he knew the "truth" back in France and Sachi was pissed. Goya's colleague Shun suspected him as the killer of Sachie 25 years ago given his suspicious interest and coincidental appearance in all the series of events.

Goda discovered one of his classmate had written a manuscript on the murder which claim to uncover some shocking truth about it, but he had handed the manuscript to another classmate Horigome(the first witness to the crime) to locate a publisher for it. Goda looked up Horigome asking to see the manuscript but was rejected. Later Horigome claimed his office was robbed of cash and the script.

Goda was suspected by his peers to be the "robber" but was later cleared of suspicions. It was a fake robbery. A rich guy Shimano Takaya appeared at Sachi's exhibition and bought an art piece at high price on the pretext of discovering new young talent. He wanted to meet Sachi and her friend over lunch but she did not appear.

At home, Sachi was injured by her adoptive mother who lapsed into hysterial whenever she rem that her real daughter had died. receiving a call from Sachie's classmate enquiring about the letter, the mum thrashed the house. In the search of the "last letter to the older me" written by her daughter before her death, Sachie's mum had a relapse, thus missing the appointment. Shimano assumed it was Goda who had called the mum.

Later we see Shimano inviting Goda and Shun to his office, asking them to leave Sachi alone to enjoy her current happiness. He explained Sachi's orphan past but did not elaborate his connection except that he is a talent scout and would not want Sachi's talent to be hindered by all these investigations.

By chance, Sachi discovered the "letter" written by the deceased Sachie. Her eyes widened as she read the content. She received an annoymous call to meet with the letter. As she made her way, she was spotted by Goda who followed her. Goda spotted a guy walking towards Sachi with a knife wanting to stab her, but Goda rushed forward in time to protect Sachi and got stabbed instead.....

At the end of the show, we see a young Goda in class writing his own letter, asking the older him to help Sachie no matter what happen.
