This was a good "roller coaster" episode with the confessions here and there. heh heh...I think the most impactful moment was the scene in the office when both came clean about what they really felt of the recent events. When Buchou lost it momentarily because of his jealousy, I was like WOW! Manly!
I like the scene that Seno unconsciously held Hotaru's hand. When he realised he had to let go, my heart almost skipped a beat for that precise moment...it was like "ouch!" He has been a really decent dude and being there for Hotaru made him really cool guy.
Damn it's tiring to write while watching the raw. My brain is having a melt down now. I need to go take a break before I start on the next drama recap:)

Hotaru no Hikari 2: Ep 7 recap.
The episode opens with Hotaru sharing a moment with the "Love god".
"Last nite, I had proposed to the man I love. A person like me who had long since distanced herself from Love, has unbelievably grown..plus a young guy had confessed to me. How long has it been since a young guy confessed his love...? But for a girl like me, it is truly rare. Dear god, is it ok for me to just relish this moment?" Hotaru grinned to herself. As she stare at her own reflection in the toilet, she gleefully thought to herself "A young guy. A not so young guy.... both liking...ME!"
Just then, Buchou entered the bathroom and broke her reverie. She awkwardly thanked Buchou for last nite, for his agreeing to her proposal.
Heading to office lift, Hotaru paused as she heard Seno's voice declaring he is also taking the lift. Inside, Seno turned to Hotaru and said he has something to say to her. Hotaru's heart went thumping...Seno returned her the phone and Hotaru shared that she forgotten about her forgotten phone. Just then, looking at Seno, Hotaru's heart rate increased and went thumping again! She then proceed to shyly ask Seno what was it he had wanted to say to her and as Seno started with "Regarding Amemiyah..." Hotaru paused and wondered in shock if it was going to be a early morning confession! However Seno only wanted to tell her for them to remain as friends like before, and walked off. "Friends? Eh?" As Hotaru digested what Seno said. Then Hotaru went "Why the eh?!" Hotaru shook her head repeatedly to try to clear her thoughts and told herself "No way! no way!" Just as she was heading to her seat, Seno surprised her again and said he had forgotten to mention something important. He asked if she was free after work and Hotaru replied she had to check her schedule. When Seno saw it was blank, he commented "it's blank (free). Well then!" Hotaru thought to herself "The aggressive young type!" "no no no! work work work!" and dashed off to her seat.
Just then the jogger asked if she was dating seno and she denied vehemently. As she overheard Seno, her heart went thumping (toko doki) again and she started to whack her own chest. Buchou looked on quizzically and wondered "Gorilla? Acting as a gorilla in the morning?" He shook his head as he look at Hotaru.
In office, Sakura mentioned a "Power Spot" where wishes can come true. The office group spontaneously talked about going on a day trip and Buchpu look at her, interpreting her every move, and her inability to vocalise that she wanted to do.
That night, Shouji went over to Buchou place and brought some food. He invited Hotaru to join them but she said she couldnt as she was only back to grab the wrong mechanise and bringing it out to exchange. Shouji said she could go after the food but Hotaru said not as she already has a appointment. He asked with who and Hotaru replied with Seno and left. Buchou was a little surprise to hear that from Shouji.
Meanwhile, Seno grabbed Hotaru's hand and said to go together to make the exchange., but she paused. Sensing her hesitation, Seno asked "It's not ok to hold hands? Even as friends?" "I dont think friends will hold hands right?" Hotaru inquired politely. "Not hold hands eh." And seno let go. Instead, Hotaru held out her fingers, Seno recognised it as a scene from ET and as they tried, he got impatient and declared it was impossible to walk this way!
In the shop, the weird guy said that from Seno "The girl I like alot has wrongly taken your bag." But Seno declared he has never said that. The weird guy said he could feel it from Seno plus, Seno may look frivolous but in reality he is truly opposite on the inside.but seno cut him off saying he doesnt believe in such a thing.
At home, Shouji shared that he had heard about Seno liking Hotaru. Buchou said he knew as Seno had told him in person. "Declaring war? Are you really ok with it? Knowing you, you must mind alot. You see not just in love but in work and life, you are a perfectionist." Buchou replied its true at times but Shouji continued "You are a true perfectionist."
"I have learnt something from Hotaru after being with her, sometimes, it is good to let go once in a while. Not to think of anything but idly just spend time on this corridor, sometimes this is the most precious moments.She has taught me that." Buchou confided. "These moments are very precious, to work hard for tomorrow. Yet no matter, to actually learn something from that Himo woman, it does feel alittle weird." Buchou joked about it. "So about Seno, to say I dont mind about that person's existence would be a lie. No matter what, let's just leave the thought as - Forget it, leave it as it is (what Hotaru always say)" Buchou shared with Shouji and both men chuckled.
After splitting with Seno, Hotaru felt another rush of heartbeat. She went back to the bar and told the weird guy her problems. Hotaru went home to research about the power spot and its location...
At home, Buchou was happily ironing his shirt and he was horrified to see a dirty spot on his clean shirt. Did I drop it during dinner? This has never happen to me before! Hotaru saw his anguished expression and asked what was wrong. However Buchou was going through a series of horrifying thoughts..."I must be getting old! My muscles are laxin and food starts to drip! And in process dirtied my shirt!" Just then Hotaru causally said she was the one who had kept the clothes. Realisation hit Buchou that the stain was the choc stain that Hotaru has transferred over! Hotaru shared about teh trip, that it required a cleansing process prior the journey and Buchou who was still fuming about the stain spot declared immediately he will help her!!!
In the garden, Buchou threw a bucket of cold water over Hotaru as part of the "cleansing ritual" without hesitation. He even sprayed her as he declared she needs thorough cleaning!!! Hotaru yelped that Buchou went overboard treating her as such and both started water fight. Hotaru went for Buchou and grab him. he told her to let go but Hotaru declared she will never let go, never let go of Buchou! Buchou suddenly rem something and told her to stop playing for a while.
"Earlier, you said you are working hard for the wedding and thus u need to go to power spot. Why do you think this way? Why you do think you need the power now?" Buchou queried. Then he imitated her thumping the chest in office and commented she was doing that the whole day in office, so something must be bothering her. Is there something she cannot tell him and why she wasnt saying anything? She apologise and hesitated. Seeing her like that, he said he understood and wont press her. He then apologised for wetting her like that and with concern, said it must still feel cold even if it was Summer. Hotaru was touched! He commented she has lost weight and more womanly than she was years ago. Hotaru was even more touched! Then he asked if he can take her lips, can he "rob" her lips and as she closed her eyes, Buchou sprayed more water at her face saying she need further cleansing! Buchou was just "bullying" her!
Meanwhile at home, Shouji was sharing his thoughts about Sachiko and asked if she wouldnt regret about quitting her job and be a housewife since work is what she thrive on all these while?
At the power spot trip. Hotaru prayed that "She can work hard for the marriage between her and Buchou and seek to have more power bestowed on her. At home, Buchou looked at the homewear she got him and pondered to himself as he recalled she had gotten that with Seno. As he put it away and lay down to clear his mind, rolling about the house, his phone rang and was a little disappointed that it was not hotaru. It was Natsu seeking help. He said that it wasnt convenient for Natsu to come over as he still feel bad about the hakone trip, and that it wasnt nice that he spend time with Natsu when Hotaru isnt around. However Natsu said she is running out of time and she really need him to help her dress in Yuta. However as she left his place, he realised he had wear her in the opposite facing for teh front, and that it was for the dead! So he dragged her to the mall to get her to change. The jogger saw Buchou dragging Natsu away.
In the changing room, Natsu said there was nothing wrong but Buchou demonstrated it was the wrong side by sticking his hand into the Yuta. Natsu was shocked and told him to remove it. She then told him to face away. He commented offhandedly that he had seen her naked many times before in the past but then caught himself in time and apologised for bringing up the past. Natsu then commented that he is not an old chap but always a man to him. Natsu then shared that it was him who had turned her into a real woman, after meeting him, she then become a woman. That was what she had understood from a conversation she had before with him. And he was someone she couldnt forget. Buchou was awkward. Natsu asked that she heard he wasnt getting married but Buchou said no they are. Natsu then said it's good then.
At home, Hotaru came home and asked how was it, to be alone in the home after such a long time and if he was at home whole day. Buchou lied and said yah. Out of guilt, Buchou brought up the watching movies thing that Hotaru had wanted to see. She suggested Et and he asked why such a old film. Hotaru question rather why did he mentioned the movie thing out of the blue. Buchou tried to explain they have never dated nor have dating memories and excused himself, leaving a puzzled Hotaru to herself.
In office, the jogger revealed that he had saw Buchou with Natsu just in front of Hotaru. he further added to a shocked Buchou that he had overheard him saying "Dont ask, just follow me". Hotaru acted normal while Buchou sweated in his own seat. Working late that nite, Buchou asked hotaru how long more is she gonna work. She replied soon and Buchou said if he could explained what the jogger had said.
"I had lied about straying at home. Sorry." Buchou apologised.
"You met with Natsu?"
"Only to help her dress in Yuta. We went to the nearby mall and borrowed the changing room"
"Why?" Hotaru asked.
"because to make sure she wasnt going to be late." Buchou tried to explain.
"I wasnt referring to that. I am referring to why did you have to lie about being home the whole day."
"Can i be truthful?" Buchou asked with an awkward expression. Hotaru told him certainly of course.
Buchou confessed that he had a heart thumping moment. At that time, he had a wavering feeling towards Natsu. So he couldnt tell Hotaru the truth.
"Did you have a confession? Did she say she like you and move towards you." Hotaru asked a surprised Buchou who in turn asked why would she think in that way?
"Because if you werent told that you were being like, why would you have a heart thumping moment?"
"because it is possible to have that without being confessed to" Buchou shared truthfully.
Hotaru questioned how is it possible and Buchou said in a small confined space like the changing room between a man and a woman, it is possible to feel that way. So that is that.
"So that is it? How does it feel like??" Hotaru pressed on.
"You see, you prob wont understand." Buchou impatiently said to her. Hotaru declared she truly does not get it.
"Even if nothing happened, a man can still have that heart thumping moment!" Buchou declared. "Esp those woman that is feminine right I suppose."
"So Natsu is that sort of woman right?" Hotaru asked
Buchou paused and looked away as Hotaru continued with her her queries. "Faced with her, you felt the womaness in her right? That is why you had a heart thumping moment"
"but that said, nothing happened between us." Buchou tried to remind Hotaru. However she got alittle more agitated and said it was even more shocking that he had that moment when nothing actually happened!
Buchou sighed and said if he had known, he would not have told her the truth but Hotaru jumped up from her seat stating that he hadnt, it would be more shocking for her. Not able to hold back, Buchou retorted that Doesn she have secrets hidden from him?
"It's enough. From now on, I wont stupidly say everything to you." Buchou said in a huff. Hotaru said she hated that and she will tell him the truth and be clear upfront. Buchou said she doesnt have to. As she went on saying that she too wanted to come clean, Buchou repeated firmly she do not have to say anything.
"He said he like me. When Seno said that, I had a heart thumping moment then." Hotaru spilled
An incensed Buchou yelled at her "I told you I DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT!"
"But..but.." An overwhelmed Hotaru ran out of the office and prayed to god to bestow power to her. Just then Seno called her and asked about the scam scarf and if she was alright.
Seno went on to say he had heard from Sakura that Hotaru had gone to power spot to ask for more power, however while that was all good and fine, yet isnt the most important factor herself? Only she can feel defeated, and only if she feel that way will she truly be so. In the end, the worst enemy will be oneself in the heart. With that he hung up as Hotaru pondered about his words. During dinner, Sakura told Seno, why dont he just stop trying so hard and snatch Hotaru from Buchou instead? Is that what you want to say to me Seno asked in surprise.
As Hotaru think about Seno words, Buchou spotted her.
"What are you doing?" Buchou asked with concern.
"Waiting for you, to go home together." she said. Then moving closer to Buchou, she started to share.
"It's not your fault, not Natsu's fault, Not Seno's fault, not even the cat's. It was all my problem. I kept trying hard for the marriage and allow myself no room for doubt, yet all I just need to do is not to lose to myself which will suffice. So, let's go home together? Let's go back to the corridor? Let's go back to the corridor and make peace" Hotaru pleaded wholeheartedly.
Faced with such an ernest Hotaru, Buchou said commented about last summer where they had played with fireworks, and unlike her, he is a perfectionist and he has already prepared the fireworks for this summer. Not getting it, Hotaru asked "Buchou?"
"Let's go back and lit the fireworks. Let's go back to teh corridor"
Hotaru's face lit up and broke into a teary smile!
At home, Buchou said to her.
"From now on, more things will happen. Even after marriage,more things will happen, even the heart thumping moment, and even more confessions, and our relationship may end. But this is no one's fault, not the cat. it the common problem of two people, and the two people have to work hard to overcome."
"It's ok Buchou,no matter what happen outside, so long as we can return to this corridor, we can overcome it. From now, no matter what happens, so long we have this corridorr and time to talk, we will be fine. We are the world's strongest dumbest couple" Hotaru shared.
Surprised, Buchou commented "you are the silly one" but Hotaru said he was too
"Didnt you honestly told me about your heart thumping moment?" Hotaru teased him..
"I wont ever again." Hotaru said in a pouting way.
"No, we will never have secrets between us ever." Hotaru happily chimed in.
They both happily lit the fireworks, sat there and smiled at each other with complete understanding of each other's feeling at that moment.
The next morning, Buchou read about the scarf scam and commented offhandedly who on earth would fall for it. Suddenly he then rem that she had one! He asked she couldnt possibly have....she shurgged off sheepishly and Buchou yelled after her "Ahomiyah!!!!" Hotaru ran off!
