Zhong Wu Yan Ep 3 Summary and Review.

Boarding the plane in another 15hours back to Sydney. The good thing is to get away from HK air and catching up with friends and family, the bad thing is I hate the 10hr flight and facing the nitemarish public transport again in Sydney. Parking is hideously expensive so it doesnt make sense to rent anything.

The story revolves round the father;s plan to get Wuyan to marry QiXuan. However Wuyan declined since marriage is not child's play and she cannot fathom marrying a man who does not love her. Moreever, QiXuan objected even though the father cut off his financial source and declared to her that he had already a woman he loves.

When Wuyan approached the father at the goldcourse to decline him, he collapsed and she discovered the truth that he had cancer and only have couple of months left. As it was his dead wife's wish to pass the company on to their only son, he has little time left to train him up to par. He felt Wuyan was the only hope and person who can influence Qixuan and guide him on the right track, judging from her influence on him from the cleaning of the river incident. At the same time, he explained his predicament that Qixuan only had a week to prove himself by winning a project, else not only will he lose his eligibility as trhe VP, his father had to give up control of the company.

Sending the father home, Qixuan was shocked to see her and asked what is the ugly woman doing here. Before she can explain, the father looked at her and she kept quiet as she had promised him in the hospital not to breathe a word about his condition (in fear the rivals will prevent Qixuan from succeeding his position and sabotage his chance).

Qixuan asked Wuyan out for a drink and they talked about the situation. He told her honestly he will never marry her but he has someone else he like. As long as she rejected the idea, his father cannot force them to get married. She said she has no interest in marrying him as well but she didnt have a choice (as her father had pawn away the jade necklace which Qixuan father had given to them as a marriage pact 17yrs ago). She lied to Qixuan she had to pay his father back. He commented isnt that selling herself for money? He said its such a small sum but she scolded him that to common folks like her 100k is a huge amount!

Qixuan got drunk and as he went off, she got worried and followed him to make sure he didnt drive. After all the troubles he caused her along the way, he stumbled by his car and fell asleep. She was pissed and tried to wake him. However, looking at her face birth patch, he ended up recalling the incident causing his mum;s death from his wilful manner of demanding a burger, and he burst out crying out loud for his mum and hug WuYan. She felt sorry for him and sent him back on a cab, which he fell onto her lap lamenting how he wished he should have been the one that was dead.

The father saw how Wuyan tucked him to bed carefully and happily thought she will agree to the marriage. However she rejected again. However she said she will help Qixuan with the proposed project to prove himself. As such the father requested for her to move to their house since her village is too far away. after careful thoughts, she agreed.

 The next morning, when Qixuan awoke, the father told him about his new task, to work on the project and get to work. Qixuan was happy.

Meanwhile, Wuyan had to assure her father that it was her own choice and she felt concern for Qixuan and thus the offer to help.
