Bloody Monday 07 Bloody Monday 08 Review

It's me rambling again.

Not sure if its just too many episodes to catch up upon, or its huge amount of casts and plus all the technical gadgets and terminology is making this series harder to blog on, since at times I have vague idea what exactly they are refering to.

Watched up till episode 8. One more to go. Very good. very gripping, so worth my time watching. I like the twists and plot and all those extra characters that they brought on that makes u wonder if they are foe or friend. Some i really want to slap the ugly face. The plot is with obvious holes as usual but never mind that... because its some semi thriller thing, I'm happy to take it all in.

Bloody Monday Episode 7 and Episode 8 Summary
(watch Unsub Ep 07 and Ep 08)

With previous episode, it ended with us suspecting the lab assistant.

However in episode 07, it was revealed that it was not the case. Falcon and the rest douns the antidote that the professor had left in the holiday house. The house had belongs to Falcon dad who had loan to the professor to live in. Even though Falcon intercepted J's phone call to Maya to get the antitode with a fake message to "halt the attack". their escape was still futile.

Before the terrorists Maya left the scene with the antidote. she smiled and thanked the lab assistant for her "broadcasting signals". Unknown to her, Falcon had secretly had a small bottle of antidote which he handed over to the female cop.

Upon interrogation at third-i HQ, we learnt that the lab assistant was not in cahoot but rather, J (Jun) the terrorist who is also some genius mathematician had approached her few days before Third-i, passing her the USB that contained some articles that he wanted her to review and give opinion. Not suspecting, she took the USB as she deem the article useful to her. Unknown though was the hidden gadget attached to allow the terrorist to track them down. Through reviewing of the video, Kirishima also discovered how the terrorists had been communicating with the cult leader trapped inside the cell. They had used some vibration gadget to send messages via morse code format. So the cult leader is able to bluff the stupid spectacled cop (to kill his fellow cop partner) that he is god with magical powers to kill someone outside the cell (the wife's lover) and predict the death of the first bloody X victim (the woman who received the parcel at home)

The new third-i leader took over the investigation and expected Kirishima to brief him. The new leader is a hardliner, who does not approve of Falcon's involvement as his dad is a traitor. Kishi who doesnt like the new leader's tactics and policy, deliberately lied that they could not recover the antidote. Meanwhile, the new Third-i leader also gave the video of Falcon's dad committing treason (kidnap of professor) to the police, and they showed it to Falcon sister who was devastted that her dad is a killer and terrorists. Falcon came home and was angry that the police had told the sister the truth.

While chasing after the police, Falcon reprimanded the police for not showing sympathy. The police retorted that they will only care about and for the victims' family, and not the terrorists/ murderer's family. They got into a tussle but Falcon lost. At home, the sister angrily told Falcon that she would never believe him or their father ever again.Falcon also called Kirishima that he would never trust them again because they broken their promise, and gave the police the video tape, hence enabling the sister to be questioned learning the truth about their father.

Next thing he knew, the same police was found dead and Falcon became prime suspect as someone had witness their disagreement. So the police went in pursuit of him but Falcon was saved by his friend Kujo. They brought him back to the secret photography room to hide from police.

Just as they were leaving, their photographer friend started to nosebleed. He had contracted Bloody X! Before they could head to the hosipiital, 2 terrorists hijacked them and forced them to the classroom. There was a video cam, and who else but J greeted them. To the shock of his companions, Falcon announced that is J, the leader of the terrorists.

J told them that all 5 of them are infected. Trapped inside the classmate with blocked phone and laptop access, Falcon's wings are clipped!

Meanwhile, Maya negotiated the release of the 5 students and antidote on condition the cult leader is released. The new third-i leader refused, with the ususal stance that causalities cannot be avoided in fighting terrorism. Kirishima disagreed with the idea. The female cop and the programmer secretly asked to meet with Kirishima, showing him support that they trust him as their leader. They too agree they want to pass the antitode (that Falcon had retrieved previous;y) to Falcon to save them.

The female cop then approached the new third-i leader, faking alliance and proposed that they should pretend to care for the kids, and negotiate with the terrorists. (I have no idea why the new leader bought that idea). So the new third-i leader agree and negotiate the release of the cult leader but in exchange, they must let them take blood samples of the 5 students to verify they are really infected with Bloody X. That gave the female cop an excuse to smuggle in the cure in the form of the multiple colour pen.

Back to the classmate, Falcon was getting desperate and the 2 terrorist mocked him and openly challenged him to try to get connected via his laptop. Falcon failed and the terrorists laughed at his plight. Falcon got fustrated as his friend was getting sicker and his laptop batt was getting low. Just then an idea hit him and he plugged to the power cord. With that (using the power line), he managed to sneak out messages to the programmer at Third-i, relaying info that his friend is getting sicker and there are 2 terrorists with him. (I am not able to translate how he does it with the power line to send out messages)

Third-I sent 2 people in and their secret attempt to leave the pen with the antidote was accidentally foiled by Falcon's friend who knocked it over the table, hence arousing the attention of the terrorists who passed it bck to the Third-I people. (Stupid girl!!! Why u moved?! Just sit tight your ugly arse since u cannot go anywhere!) Desperate, the third-i people pretended to get into fight and leave the pen amongst the newspaper stand.

While unattended, Falcon read belatedly the cure is in the pen and the new location. He tried to sneak out to get the cure but the pen was long discovered by the terrorsits who still doesnt know what was it for. The stupid girl who had foiled the pen rescue earlier decided to lunge towards one of the attacker and Falcon's guy friend Kujo snatched the semi automatic and fired at them while they ran with the cure (pen). (At some point, Kujo thought for a min the terrorists were after him because his grandfather is some legal justice figure that imprisoned the cult leader, and that he is a bargaining chip for his release. But Falcon/ J explained that the target is Falcon as 2 years ago while hacking, he discovered the evil plot of the cult leader on his website with embedded message that he wanted to axe Tokyo with some terrorists plans. So Falcon spoilt the plan and the cult leader was captured and imprisoned for life without capital punishment)

Back in their newspaper club's room, Falcon wanted to give the antidote to his friend but realised that he is already dead. The group despaired and cried. They opened the secret folder the dead boy had always carried with him but refusing to show them, saying previously they have to pay him to see the shots. They realised it was a photo journal of the newspaper club of the other 4, capturing all their private and happy smiling moments . The group cried even harder, realising what they had meant to the dead guy. The worst feeling was looking through and Falcon said "The guy didnt even have a photo of himself in here...."

The Terrorists are on the move. They are getting really to welcome back their leader (the imprisoned cult leader), and released the virus on Monday as a blood ritual and also to celebrate the return of K. At the jailhouse, all the police were already being infected. (I am not sure if the smelly toilet leaking sewage water is the cause.) Back at third-i, the new leader sat up in shock looking at the live feed, as all th police collapsed and killed by the terrorists.

The bad spectacle police guy alone in the car, was interrupted by Kano and Kirishima, asking what exactly is going to happen on Monday? Apparently, Falcon's father had sent an sms to his daughter who had shown it to Kano. The sms enquires her health before stateing that the daughter should not leave house on monday...

Afterthoughts

I was wondering how come the friend Kujo knows exactly where Falcon when he is running away from the cops.. suspicious...

I find it strange that Third-I HQ never thought to run thru immediately family list and all its members/ worshippers of the cult leader and find out who his son is?!!! They dun seem to run this place like elites should, but the whole place is like some normal police force HQ. Not much talent esp if all the terrorists and even Falcon appear to whip their arses/ propose solutions and make Third-i look stupid, always running but never catching anyone. With the professor turning out to be "bad", and so many hidden spies, they are are stupid or brave to take on another new staff as their team leader.... I wont trust anyone new at that junction man....In fact I would feel insulted if I am kirishima.

And the school, why on earth would Falcon think the school is a safe place? dud..stupid? Plus if i have a sister yelling at my face like that, I would have slap her silly first since Falcon did so many things to save her sorry useless arse. So just because he didnt tell her the dad is a possible terrorists and she get all uptight despite all those crucial life threatening situations to get her alive....its not that the father is always at home. The bro is like a surrogate parent to her..ingrate.

I found it funny too that Third-i people actually release the sister from protection and send her home like nothing happen. HELLO?! The cult leader, J, maya and blue bird are still out there. Why is it safe? I dun understand. And considering what a liability the sister is and Falcon's heavy imvolvement, and terrorists obvious interest in him, u would think third-i would at least try to keep the sister safe from public access. She went home just like that, not like some group almost successfully want to exterminate the world! Geeeshs! No wonder third-i always get beaten..so complacent....

well...that's all for now. No matter what, its still a pretty good drama to watch. Its getting more and more exciting especially when J reveal to Falcon that Kujo is his brother in next epsiode! I have finished watching but too lazy to blog. Enough episodes summaries for now...
