Bloody Monday Episode 11 Summary (Final Episode)

I didnt think the ending was up to my expectation. This will be a short (not too detailed) summary.

Bloody Monday Final Episode 11 (Watch Veoh Video)

The opening continued from Falcon's father being shot and Falcon finally aware that his classmate Anzai is the cult ringleader's daughter - K.

The terrorists Maya and K got away before the Third-i people and Kano arrived at the church. Falcon's father was critically injured. He passed a USB to Kano, revealing that all the secrets of the cult group is within and he insisted that they must stop Bloody Monday before its too late.
Kano transmitted the information back to Kirishima at the HQ immediately. They discovered based on Falcon's father report, the real "Bloody Monday" was not the virus. Instead, when they review the video tape of the Russian village that was wiped out during the previous Xmas, there was some sort of sound, revealing that the truth. The population was wiped out by some sort of emitted radiation from some devices within the radius, and the video was the proof. Hence which is why the terrorists had tried to elinimate the video so badly.

Meanwhile, K had ordered the cult group to unleash the "Box" - which is the device that contain 3 canistor of radiation material. Their ultimate aim was to "cleanse" Tokyo of its existing "corruption" and "unrepentent" population so that under K, they can built the ideal world that they believed in.

At the hospital, Falcon refused to leave town with his sister. He wanted to stay and helped stop Bloody Monday which was his father last plea. He finally understood that his father was never a traitor. He was acting as a spy in the cult group to gather more information, and only the Third-I old guy was aware of the truth.

Meanwhile, it was also revealed that Anzai was actually known as Kanzai but her name was changed to protect her birth and link to the cult leader be known. She was the 11 child of the cult leader. J on the otherhand when young was "saved" by his (Kujo's) grandfather previously (using/ abusing his authority) , when his identity was secretly swopped with another dead guy. So technically, J no longer exists in this world.

Back at the cult group, J told K that he would go and "complete" his formulated plan in order to allow K to make her escape. The radiation device countdown has started and K alone holds the key to the timer.

J kidnap Kujo in order to meet with Falcon. He passed Falcon his own laptop, and asked Falcon to breakinto the cult group network to stop the radiation timer countdown, otherwise, he would kill Kujo. Falcon accepted the task, not knowing that J had asked bluebird to also hack into the system, using Falcon as the way finder. J had intended to take over the timer but bluebird failed.
While he shot bluebird, J kept his promise and sent his half brother Kujo back to his grandfather's place. Falcon meanwhile sucessfully stop the timer and located the terrorists location. He informed Third-I, but not before calling Anzai to flee and meet him at the rooftop.

At the bust, Kirishima was informed Anzai had escaped. He thought for a second and asked to track down Falcon's whereabout.

At the rooftop, Falcon wanted to know and understand if Anzai had truly planned everything from joining the school to be his classmate, joining the shinbun (news) club to causing the death of their friend. She admitted so and asked Falcon to shoot her. Falcon told her he had stopped the timer but she said he was wrong, the timer would only stop if she is dead as it is linked to her heartbeat. She taunted him if he had wanted to save millions of people or choose to kill her, hence becoming a murderer. Falcon choose not to shoot her. Anzai laughed at him for being a fool and was prepared to shoot Falcon at his head. At the crucial moment, Anzai was shot dead instead by the Third-i people who arrived! When third-i people inspected the device, they discovered that someone had beat them to it and already removed all the 3 canistor! Truth was,, J had already carted the canistor away!

J called Falcon as he was departing the building. He wanted Falcon to relay message to Third-i that he had the radiation canistor, and would unleashed it someday under his own terms. Falcon looked up and caught a glimpse of J standing before him, but when he ran forward to get a better look, all he saw was the melon juice that J had left behind.

At the hospital, Falcon's sister had recovered. It was Falcon's father's last wish that his organs be transplanted to the sister so that she can lead a normal life again, and that they will always be together from now on. As the father had pre-signed the agreement form, and the match was perfect, the transplant went thru sucessfully.

In the end, Maya was seen talking on the phone, stating she had received the payment. As she hung up, we also see Kujo's grandfather hanging up the phone, and as the man who had been paying off Maya.

- The end-

Afterthought

I guess Falcon will forever live with the guilt that he caused his father;s death with his recklessness. What i do not quite understand is Kujo's grandfather involvement. So did he pay Maya to sniff out the terrorists plans, or to kill K? That part was a little confusing to me...

And I thought Maya shot the butterfly killer in the head previously, and suddenly he is well and alive at the airport traking her down? Strange.

Even if the butterfly killer was not dead, wont he be in custody with the police for all the shooting? Yet he roamed freely... ridiculous...
