JD is plain annoying

Just caught up to episode 20 and 21 of Boys before flower and Jandi is just so freaking unadorable. I really HATE her defeatist attitude, not to mention spineless!!!

The time when she should actually open her mouth to ask Jihoo for help, she didnt and rather walk aimlessly as a homeless. It's like is she STUPID? What about the clinic place she works at? What about her boss? What about her best friend? How could she be so PIG headed and brainless? Since the previous episodes, she was able to head to the clinic anytime to do cleaning and even brought Jihoo along, so why couldnt she just go to the clinic for an overnight stay first and see if grandpa can help her with a solution? Instead, she rather roam the streets like an absolute moron.

And JK was right. She WAS indeed friend of JD before she was a fiancee of GJP. I think its quite despicable for JD to sneak behind JK back and she rather stay at GJP house and not tell JK. She think JK will never find out? The storyline just get more absurd. Not to mention she looks stupid with the hood over her head at home, and she looks so fat in that fake short wedding gown. They need a better sponsor for the drama.

To be honest, I feel sad for JK. She is really fighting hard to win GJP over even though she knows its a lost cause. It was nice of her to request to stay at GJP house or the mum would prob try all means to boot JD out. At least that is what I think. I am guessing that she is insisting JD to be her maid of honor so that she can swop places with her later at the wedding ceremony. Somehow she is such a sweet girl that I think she will give in to JD in the end and pass her back the necklace later. Well, at least that is the sort of storyline that seems reasonable. They wont paint JK as someone bad for sure.

Did anyone see Jihoo's 10000000million watt smile?
What I was wondering was, wont it be better if JD SOLD the tickets online and get cash instead? Rather than exchange for a box of food? Hmmmm..

Oh well, that's all for my ranting.
I dont care what JD fan says, I just think her character in this drama is simply unbearable. She should also stop puffing her cheeks when confronted in a awkward situation (like in GJP bedroom when the mum and grandma was there.)

Ok ok i better stop before I burst a blood vessel.
Can they just do a F4 special without the silly girl? That would be much more entertaining.

hi there and welcome back!!!

since season 2 started, korean-bbf was going downhill. although episode 20 and 21 were okay for me, before that i had a blank stare in space and i could feel a text balloon come on top of my head saying "huh, what just happened?" i blame it on the director and writers for making a mess of the whole drama. such a pity since i am considered a "virgin" in the asianovela addiction, it would have been a great experience if the first version of BBF i get to watch would be the best. so many gaps and inconsistencies in character development so i was really frustrated most of the time.

but on the bright side because in another blogsite, people were recommending the japanese version- i ventured to watch hanayori dango and enjoyed it immensely. okay, there were scenes bordering idiotic at times but still it added to the personality of the characters. tsukushi remained strong and firm on her resolve in fighting for tsukasa. and yes, except at the time of his guilt trip on the supposed "death" of a close employee, domyogi remained consistently fighting for makino...he left everything to be with her. the sweet moments were not "that" cheesy at all like the elevator scene...asking makino to close her eyes when tsukasa was being "mauled", "prom" finale scene and when they kiss (they are still "in character") was so romantic. i was rooting for "love will conquer all" (the main theme of any love drama) from beginning to end and not once did i feel that rui had a chance with tsukushi. although, i have to admit, the korean F4 is an overload of eyecandies....oh, yes, i did see Jihoo smile ..... hmmmmm... swoon.......

actually, i am also so annoyed with JD for her acting but we have to blame the director for this. i believe they want her to look younger. in episode 21, i felt that the writers have failed JunPyo, he was developed into a coward and a loser. i felt Jihoo deserved JanDi in the korean version more because although he was quiet, and reserved...he overcame his phobia with driving cars, he was "there" when the need arises...he was protecting her, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to listen and someone who has forsight on her needs. aside from the acting, i so enjoy the OST "alone" however, i feel that it was played at the wrong time alot in the drama.

oh well, i found your blog because of my frustrations on BBF, so am glad i got bored there. thanks, am watching triangle and kiina and enjoying myself....

great week ahead of us.

thanks!

yeah...the "season 2" segment is where they no longer have the manga to fall back on... well there are many people to blame and the actors/ actress could have made it less annoying I am sure. JD made me feel like she has limited acting skills and hence always falling back on the "act cute" face to express whatever emotion she has. U are right, the inconsistencies are so unbelievable that only a 10yr old could fall for it. Even fairy tales has more logic than that! Not to mention....what the hell is bride's maid doing at the groom's room instead of helping out and being with the bride? So illogical. (As far as I am aware, Someone should tell the subber that "bride of honor" is refering to someone who is already married, JD should be "bridemaid"..unless korea term it differently)

yeah the japanese version is much better even though I didnt want to compare. However if based on acting, I much prefer the Japanese Makino than the korean version who is presented to be so weak willed. And U are right oo about the scriptwriter failing and doing injustice to GJP. GJP in Korean though more humane and more mature and less "silly" than the Jap version, yet he also was frustratingly too accomodating and obliging.

Haa haa i think it has alot of similar feel that Jihoo deserve JD more. They just make a better couple.

There are many great Jap drama out there even the older ones, just need time to cover them all! hooo hooo
